Age: 18 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: None
Desired Position: Kittypet
Short Description:
A small, furry gray she-cat with brilliant orange eyes.Description:
Pumpkin was named for her eyes which are, indeed, a brilliant shade of orange, tinted with a bright, glittering topaz around the edges and fading into a nearly-lemon-yellow shade ringing each pupil. But from a distance these pretty, alert and round eyes just seem to be an ordinary, though very bright, orange color. They seem to be the centerpiece of her entire appearance, certainly, for the rest of her youthful frame is covered in a stormy, average gray. This is not to say that the gray is unattractive, for it's actually fairly so, fading from blue to dusty brown at odd, flowing intervals across her pelt, and the fur itself is thin and feathery - clearly the fur of a kittypet - and most of all very pleasant to the touch. Pumpkin's face is round, her paws thick. and her tail long and brush-like. She's got long, erect ears that stand slightly darker than the rest of her fur, matching her obsidian nose rather well.Personality:
Pumpkin can be seen as many things, for these are just what she portrays herself as, but within her little frame is a much more complex young cat than her exterior would suggest. From the perspective of neighboring cats and those she encountered, Pumpkin is rather a hopeless romantic, almost ditzy in her ways, and an all around witless, silly, typical young she-cat. They say she is pampered and preened, a two-leg lover, and she's even heard ridiculous claims that she would rather mate with she-cats than toms, though rarely these come from the same cat, it's all neighborhood gossip, and while wisps of truth lie embedded in these so-called traits, the true Pumpkin is unendingly eager to please, and even if she does seem as though she were lost in her world, almost at all times, she really does have the best of intentions. Indeed, she enjoys it when all eyes are on her, and she can become overzealous quite easily, but Pumpkin heartfully tries to keep respectful, even if her plans don't always work out. This young she-cat is easily distracted, and easily influenced, and not-so-easily distached, for, yes, Pumpkin is fairly clingy. Meeting a new cat? She will wait at her fence until they return to her, dreaming of the merry times they will soon have again. Of course, this leads to shattered thoughts and broken hearts, but, being easily distracted, she'll get back up again and brush it off, quickly becoming infatuated once more. Still, Pumpkin is young, she has many excuses, and plenty of time to learn.Experience:
Pumpkin's father was a roaming loner, her mother a kittypet from the other side of town, and when the she-cat was found to be with kits, her two-legs allowed her to kit, and then sold her and all of the kittens but one. One kitten that was sold was Pumpkin herself, and she's grown up leading a relatively solitary life in her humans' yard, with the company of the occasional kittypet or loner. Pumpkin adores her two-legs, a young married couple who lack children or other pets, for they shower her with affection and spoil her rotten.Picture: Other:
