"Well, what am I supposed to do? Go on a patrol? I think that can wait a bit. For now, I'd like to take a quick nap with a nice she-cat. If she's willing," he mused and went back to his settled down position before shuffling closer to Fawnleaf and laying his chin on his paws. She was warm from the distance he was from her, but it felt good to be laying next to her. A friendly chat? She had given him a good chat to begin with and he couldn't wait to go on patrols with her and battle train and do everything else with her in the future, if she'd have him. Which, hopefully in the near future....she would.
Purring, he closed his eyes and ignored every other noise in the clearing and listened for Fawnleaf's voice. Falling into a light sleep, he breathed in her rich scent that was masked under her dirty pelt, but he loved her scent and it was comforting. His mind was set on a nap; his attention was on Fawnleaf. "You going to come down here and nap with me?" he purred softly for only her to hear. It was time to end talking and just sleep.
