At first many thought that Petrelsong was just going to be an average gray kit. However as she grew the layers of fur that soon began to show turned to be darker and more outstanding colors. She's quite small. But her small size doesn't mean she has no muscle. Her body is actually quite muscular and compact. She stands around the size of an apprentice and this is do to her being born as a runt. She's proportioned nicely and her body is that of an average cat. No deformations, no odd growths. Her fur is a shorter, semi-medium length. It's mostly, or was mostly, a smokey gray. However as she grew older it started housing swirls of dark gray, almost black, and swirls of tans and browns. While she does contain swirls, part of those colors also come in stripes. Most of these strips are thicker and along her flanks, near the base of her tail. However her front legs seem to have rings of a dark dark gray. Her eyes are a pale misty blue due to the fact that she's blind.

For a blind cat, there's not much that holds her back. In fact Petrelsong is rather rambunctious. She's turned into a reliable and loyal she-cat. That is when she trusts you. For the most part she trusts many. However it can be as simple as the way she's brushed, or the way you talk, or the scent you give off that makes her want to push you away and have nothing to do with you. For the fact that being blind has pushed her other sense further than any other cat. She uses these to her advantage. And just because she's blind doesn't mean she's one to slink around and have others feel sorry for her. In fact it's pushed her to become better and part of the everyday clan life. She tries harder, and needs to know that her job is being done as it should be. She needs to give 200% rather than just shaving off what she can and getting by. With a heart of gold, but not one that breaks easily, she's jumped on the lovable squeezable train. It's hard to find her hated by many due to her blind condition. Yet, she hates when others feel sorry for her. It's hard to explain just what personality she houses. It really changes from day to day. She's not psychotic, or bipolar...she's just hard for other to understand...and quite literally.
