NAME// Twiggy is what my Twoleg calls me.
AGE// I am but 14 moons old.
GENDER// Male, please.
CLAN// Clanless
DESIRED POSITION// Kittypet
SHORT DESCRIPTION// A tabby tom with leaf-green eyes.
DESCRIPTION// Like his name, Twiggy has bright green eyes the color of a leaf in Greenleaf. They match well with his pelt, which is why his first real owners, a couple named Emily and Matthew, named him Twiggy.
His pelt is a mix of the colors white, tan, and medium brown. Like a lot of cats, he is short-haired, so he is very cold in the Winter because of that but keeps cool in the summer with his low-lying fur. He doesn't shed that much, making him an ideal choice for a kittypet.
Twiggy is a heavily built tom cat despite his young age. He was the largest of a litter of 3 and the other one his mother had had before he was birthed, or so she said. His left ear is torn a bit in a corner, as a result of trying to break up a fight going on between two kitty pets a while ago.
PERSONALITY//
Twiggy is a very energetic tom cat who can't keep still and enjoys if things are changed around. Once he gets interested in something, he can't stop doing it until he's done it so much it's annoying. He is kiddish, though very thoughtful at times.
He is also stupid, and tries to stop fights whenever it breaks up, no matter what or who it someone is fighting with. Well, except humans other than his loyal owner, Peter Alan Bursgby. This gets him in a lot of trouble, seeing as he doesn't pay attention to how big and buff the other cat is before he goes into the fight as well.
Besides his demeanor, Twiggy is actually quite lovable and quiet if he needs to. He is more than willing to listen to others with stories if he has to, and loves listening to other's problems to see if he can help.
Instead of himself taking the lead, Twiggy would prefer if others have more power than him. He doesn't like leading, and would rather stay back as an outsider.
Sometimes he dreams about the Clans, though he has never thought of leaving Peter to join them.
EXPERIENCE// The first thing I remembered on that warm Newleaf day was feeling the warm barbed tongue of my father running along my pelt and laying limply on the ground of my mother's home. I remember trying to look around but only seeing black, nothing behind the closed eyelids of mine.
I stayed like that for a couple weeks, but it felt like a couple years. My mother told me it was just after dawn that I was born. Her folk were nice and caring, but they gave me a name I did not like: Boulder. I use to complain to Mother that I didn't like that name one bit, but she would tell me that I didn't have to go by it. My eyes were opened once my weeks passed. The same day or the day after so did Captain's and Mist's, my brother and sister. Captain was a pure gray tom cat, longhaired unlike the rest of my family, which was odd to us. He had blue eye like my sister and father. Mist's pelt was a whitish-lightgray. We would always sneak out into the garden and sniff at the plants growing there, digging them up occasionally - or trying to at least- and getting scolded by Mother and Father. My dad, whose name was Breeze, went away about a month after my half-moon mark passed. We never saw him again. When I was in the middle of my 2nd moon Mother had begun taking us out of the house with her. She would usually go out in this forest silently, glancing around with her eyes as we padded alongside her, trying our best to obey instructions and be quiet for once. We would always reach the same clearing and see the same cat.
At around 5 moons old Mother's owner's decided that Mist, Captain, and I were too much to handle, as we were not yet potty trained. They put an ad into the newspaper and people came by days after to look at us. There was a really mean boy who would rub my fur the wrong way harshly and pat me hard, and they wanted to get me, but Mother's owners would not allow it. They glared at her and left with a huff.
Finally I was bought after Mist by a couple whose names were Emily and Matthew. I quickly found out they had just gotten an apartment, which was small and cramped and allowed me no space, and had just gotten married. In about 1 moon they gave me up, as they had no where to let me go free on my own accord. I was given up to the pound, and I didn't like it one bit. At the pound I met my brother Captain again, as I was put into the same cage. He filled me in on my life, and I filled him in on mine.
It was also there, about a moon later, that he met Sap. She was the prettiest cat he had ever seen; Sap had orange fur and dark green eyes that seemed to reach out for you.
Both Sap and I were bought by two teenaged friends who had different homes. I didn't know where Sap lived until now, but I was living with an old man and his grand-daughter until she went to college. Then it was only him.
I was fed as if I was important and his own family member. His name was Peter Alan Burgsby, and he was a balding man about 65 years old. It amazed me how they could live that long; never in my life had I met somebody that old. Peter liked to talk to me in the mornings to not feel as lonely, and it was one of these talks that ended up telling me his whole life story.
Since then I have lived with Peter, and do not plan on leaving any time soon. OTHER// Mother: Fiona, unknown. Father: Breeze, unknown. Siblings: Captain, unknown. Mist, unknown.
