NAME// Rosemary AGE// 29 moons GENDER// she-cat CLAN// none DESIRED POSITION// loner SHORT DESCRIPTION// a sleek, bright-eyed, rusty-colored she-cat.
DESCRIPTION// First and foremost, what one may notice upon first glance, besides her pelt of course, is the eyes of this young female. They are wide, alert. Moon-like, even, in their dazzling ever-roundness. However, her eyes rarely appear alarmed, despite it all. They simply look curious or even friendly, glittering with flecks of metallic iridescense in a range of golden to pearl upon a backdrop of mostly olivine green which fades softly into a pleasant yellow tone. These pretty eyes of hers are perhaps most prominent mainly based on their deep chocolate, nearly black, lining them, matching the large, kitten-like pupils. Next, of course, is her fur. Sleek and shining with youth and health, Rosemary really has very pretty fur. Her birthname was indeed Rose for its softly pinkish hue which tints the rusty brown hair. Though in some places the fur is hardly red at all, the entirety of her coat is colored so that the illusion becomes that which Rosemary seems to be completely florid-stained. Much of the fur which spreads from her spine is in fact a soft, deep hazel-brown, reaching up to her brow where is darkens and becomes an altogether deeper hue, slashing vivid tabby marks across her face between a light frosting of cream. Her underside, face, throat, and paws all show a slightly different color; the aforementioned ruddy shade. However, it seems, every hair's base is a deep, inky black, becoming more prominent at her tailtip, ears, and between her toes. In build, Rosemary might as well be a purebred abyssinian. Her frame is sleek and wiry, incredibly graceful with hidden strength stored within the powerful coils of muscles tightly bound beneath her smooth coat. Her limbs are long and thin like the whip-like tail that dances along behind her limber spine. PERSONALITY// Sassy, spunky, fiesty, what have you, perhaps Rosemary is truly a blend of all three, with a healthy helping of other traits nicely blended in. And, despite her very fiery demeanor that aids her explosive temper, Rose is fairly easy to get along with. An undoubtably independent female, Rosemary is very opinionated, keeping to her own facts and values and disregarding, even trashing, those of others because obviously she is right and they are wrong. This, of course makes her difficult to tolerate at times, for disagreement can spark blazing arguements thanks to her oh-so-characteristic temper, but on the average base of Rosemary's persona is an outgoing, bold young female. She's unafraid, even to the point of foolishness, but along with this comes her incredibly social nature, never lacking in backbone but occasionally lacking in intelligence when her heart and her tongue blot out her brain. EXPERIENCE// yaaaay short lazy history; rose was born with three brothers - thom, fawn, and porter. their mother was a purebred abyssinian kittypet, kept by the twolegs for breeding purposes. the father was simply a local tomcat, a big, friendly tabby with a certain way with the ladies. he, of course, didn't bother to stick around for the queen but she didn't much mind. by now, she was used to her babies being taken away from her, so the tabby tom wasn't missing much in the parenthood area. sure enough, the kittens were taken. however oddly enough, the four were sent to the same household, but it was soon realized that the home wasn't meant for keeping cats, and they were left to fend for themselves though the humans left out endless bowls of kibble, the young siblings became skittish of twolegs and learned to fend for themselves on the land, which turned out to be a rugged farm. the hayloft in the barn proved to be a spendid habitat for them, though, and they grew strong and smart. rose renamed herself, perhaps out of rebellion, but perhaps simply because she favored the less feminine, far more appealing rosemary, after her favorite herb, to the silly girly name of rose. fawn was first to leave, taken up in a bout of romance, much to rosemary's displeasure, and escaped with a little she-cat to raise a family of his own away from his siblings. the small, pale brown tabby visited often, but it just wasn't the same. his brothers and sister couldn't help feeling like he had betrayed them, even though they knew they were being silly. still, no one was far surprised when the big, sweet porter fled the family's barn with a she-cat next, already with her bun(s) in the oven. of course, it wasn't long before rosemary's beloved tom found 'the one'. he went to leave as well, but rose simply could not allow her favorite brother to escape such a perfect home, so she left instead. she now finds herself on a quest of her own, seeking adventure and friendship while uncovering the intrigue which shrouds the mysterious clans. OTHER// herrrrrp. like I need another cat. [/blockquote]
