NAME//Embergaze AGE// 35 moons GENDER// Female CLAN// Zephyr DESIRED POSITION// Deputy? SHORT DESCRIPTION// Dark gray she-cat with amber eyes.
DESCRIPTION// Embergaze is of a rather stockier structure - her shoulders are broad and well muscles, and her body does not taper in much at her rib cage, causing her bird's eye image to be somewhat of a square. Along with broad shoulders, the she-cat has wider hips as well, and her tail is proportionally wide, so she does not look like a distorted, thinner she-cat.
Her eyes are a high point of her appearance; they are the color of liquid topaz, amber streaks within the golden depths, and small flecks of a darker orange. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and this is especially true with the deputy; every thought she has seems to flow out from her orbs, especially evident to those who know the she-cat the best.
The fur of this girl is a variety of grays; the base is the color of ash, a rather unflattering color in the opinion of the deputy. The other colors besides the base coat are silver, though not with the normal metallic sheen, a steely gray (again without the normal sheen), a shade similar to that of a cloud before a storm, and finally, a dusky color. Each of these colors is flecked within, able to be seen best in the light of the noonday sun.
PERSONALITY// Embergaze is a very proud cat; she hates to admit she is wrong, but is not afraid to do so if she feels she really has wronged someone - she doesn't wish to appear arrogant when she's trying to protect her honor and her pride.
Another point of her personality that is favorable to the she-cat is her loyalty; she is as loyal as she possibly can be, and the thought of betraying her Clan, for anything is abhorrent; it does help, of course, that she is the deputy, and therefore is held as a role model to most of the Clan.
However, not everything in this she-cat's soul is peachy and nice - she is one to get angry very quickly - she has a tendency to lash out if a cat strums her nerves too much, which is not often, for the cats of ZephryClan have learned - more often it is a warrior who is blinded by a strong emotion that annoys her than the kits or apprentices - kits are a soft spot for the deputy, after all - they're a soft spot for a lot of cats.
One thing that would make her a perfect deputy is the fact that she doesn't go into battle using only brute force - everything about her battle skills is her strategy - if she has an opponent twice her size, she uses the weight against them; and if she were to plan a total attack on another camp, she would surround it and then attack, so that no cat could escape. Embergaze eats lives and breathes strategy.
EXPERIENCE// ---
OTHER// ((roleplay sample- note, it's from a wolf site, please and thanks. xD))
The lead epsilon listened as her half-uncle intently, her ears slightly inclined towards the golden and cream hued male, showing that she was indeed taking in his words. He seemed to have the whole hunt figure out, and it almost bothered her; she was the lead epsilon, and thought it was all well and good that someone else had found a quarry, but then he went and basically told them all what they were going to do! She took a deep breath, her maw opening barely an inch, and therefore the intake of air took longer, so that the lead epsilon had some time to think of how to respond. Finally, the right words came to her, and she began to let them slow, her voice smooth and silky.
"The doe seems a good choice, uncle, but I'm worried that if we go too far north, we'll end up near the Ancoran border, where the ice is much worse than it is here; I saw a pair of tracks heading down towards the swampland," Triage gestured with her head to the southeast, "And I think it might be a doe and a fawn. Once we kill the doe, the fawn will be practically helpless, so there's more meat for Cynvi with only a little more work." she said, dual eyes firm in her decision.
"Now, as far as strategy goes, I think that we'll need to separate the doe and her fawn so that the little one doesn't get in the way of the kill. So, assuming that the doe and her fawn are right next to each other, and not grazing, Cota - that is your name, correct? - will push between the two; Calyx will come around the left flank and attach to the doe's nose, so that she can't breathe. I'll go for her neck, and try to strike the killing blow. Cota, you'll be in charge of the fawn; make sure it doesn't get away, kill it if you can; and if it does get away, help us keep the doe under control. If there's ice, try to avoid it, or get the doe on it so she slips and falls, and is more vulnerable. Any questions?" The lead epsilon's plan seemed to fall out of her mouth, the words coming out too fast to know if she had said every word - Triage hoped she was, at the very least, understandable.

HELLO. (: thanks for applying.
just one thing i'd like to clarify, female deputies are not allowed to have kits. If you want to keep that part of her personality - where 'kits are a big part of her life' - she may be more suited to be a warrior than a deputy. (: also, maybe you could include something more in her personality that would prove how suitable she is for the position? e.g. strategizing, battle tactics, quick-witted, etc.
if not, she'd make a perfectly good warrior. (:
