NAME// Cloudwhisker AGE// Five GENDER// Male CLAN// Celestial DESIRED POSITION// Warrior SHORT DESCRIPTION// A seal-point Balinese with light-blue eyes and long fur.
DESCRIPTION// Eyes: Cloudy-gray, they always appear to sparkle with happiness. The cat is just plain enjoyable to be around, for he always seem to have a smile on his face. The color ends very suddenly, as it then goes straight to the very-black pupil.
Fur: Being a seal-point means that his paws, tail, face and ears are covered with the color of choice. In this instance, Cloudwhisker's color is a black, surrounded by a dark tawny or cream. His tail is a fluffy thing, being a balinese, and the fur never seems to bristle with anger.
Pysical: Being a long foot and ten inches, the kitty is fairly strong-- a gentle giant, some would say. His ears resemble a Siamese slightly, while his graceful looks remind one of the subtle (or not so much) of the Main Coon. In truth, actually, he just seems good all around. His fur is soft, but seems able enough to protect him from the weather and strikes from the enemy.
PERSONALITY// Quirky: Like most very intelligent humans, Cloudwhisker has slight...quirks. He has a very sound and clear mind, but the jokes he makes, and the way he talks labels him as eccentric, and the way he blurts things out; quirky. This doesn't mean he can't be unhappy, it just means he doesn't really know how to interpret other cat's emotions. This adds to his being quirky, and in that way, he's a very lovable cat.
Friendly: Like being quirky, the male is very friendly-- giving his share of prey to others, and comforting those that need comforting (that tell him, anyway. He can't really feel the right things unless told to). Cloudwhisker seems to be the very essence of kindness and friendliness, though he does have some drawbacks to being like this. He doesn't like killing, though he does like strategies. He also doesn't like being made fun of due to his slightly...slow personality. He seems like he doesn't get much of anything unless it's right up his alley, but he does! But, instead of confronting them about it, he'll most of the time let it ferment like rotten milk until he eventually does so. Typically he gets upset about the littlest thing, though he doesn't allow others to see it.
Happy: Generally very happy-looking (and ninety-nine percent showing it), he gives off this near-vibe of being happy, which in turn, makes other little kitties happy. It's simple science. If one cat is really happy, then most other cats feel it and respond to it.
Weird: Cloudwhisker has...weird tendencies. He doesn't like certain colors of leaves, and he also doesn't look other cats in the eye. Ever. He feels very uncomfortable doing it, and the only one he's come close to is his parents-- not even his mentor have gained that privilege, although he now almost looks like he is, indeed, looking the cat in the eyes.
Odd: What is the difference from weird and odd? Well, Cloudwhisker not only doesn't know how to read emotions very good-- he also all of a sudden blurts something out as if you were reading his mind for the past hour he was thinking those thoughts! He can continue for hours talking about his favorite hobby, although he never really gets hints. You'll have to tell him bluntly, but he takes it well, for he uses blunt-ness (unknowingly) as well.
Lovin': Cloudwhisker, since he knows that he can't read emotions/display emotions (you normally get a monotone type of face), will normally compensate for being, at times, overly loving. He'll rub his cheek against anyone who's his friend, but having been told that he can't just do that to everyone by his parents, Cloudwhisker has limited it to only family. And Thistlefoot.
Naive: Naive to this world, Cloudwhisker doesn't seem to know what rape is, or how exactly kittens are made. Things like this he knows very little about. He does know, though, violence. In fact, if one didn't know better, he seemed to be fascinated by it. Not by the blood and gore-- simply the consequences of having not put in place a good strategy.
EXPERIENCE// Everyone in his family knew that Cloudwhisker was...special. He had, from the very start, a look in his eyes, and a gate to his step that made it so that he was different then others. The happy family was just that: happy. No hidden things going on-- nothing. Cloudwhisker grew up with two other siblings: Spottedpaw and Littlewhisker. Spottedpaw had blacker paws then the others, while Littlewhisker had shorter whiskers then usual. They looked pretty much all the same, but the thing that held them apart at a good arms length, would be Cloudwhisker's personality compared to theirs. Sure, everyone had their kitten years where they were young and naive, only Cloudwhisker didn't grow up. He didn't lose that excitement and kitten-like outlook on life. When he was about four months old, they thought nothing of it, and decided that he was merely a late bloomer. The three were assigned mentor's at six months, and they were off at a flying start with learning how to be an excellent warrior.
Thistlefoot was an excellent mentor, they all knew it, and hoped that Cloudwhisker would come out of his naive personality. One that didn't seem aware of personal space, or correction unless it was in the most blunt terms. All in all, he needed a lot, but Thistlefoot gave him such-- his calm temperament was exactly what he needed. He told him all the things he needed to know, including the fact that cats liked personal space. Unless around loved ones, in which case it was fine to snuggle for a bit. When the tom gets excited, though, he tends to forget such things, and snuggle up next to other cats. He got to know his mentor very clearly, and Thistlefoot earned Cloudwhisker's seemingly easy trust.
After a few months, the parents gave up in trying to change Cloudwhisker. This was, in all apparent terms, what he was, and went along with it. That was the best way to go along with the outgoing rush that was Cloudwhisker. Now? After his vigil, the very young tom is learning more and more, but the child-like outlook on life isn't able to be changed. It's just what he is. OTHER// --- [/blockquote]
