Silkenvine purred softly, her eyes content on watching the tom. The words he spoke were ones she had already heard. Perilstar had spoken of Celestialclan to her once already. She had heard his thoughts about it already. "I'm doing just fine. " She purred before moving onto his second question. "About Ghoststar's death. Yes I did. I also heard that he deputy was a young little thing. I feel sorry for her, so young to lead a clan." Her eyes glanced down at the ground for a second before she quickly looked up once more. "You think Celestialclan will handle it okay?"
-
Perilstar watched as Cedarclaw made his way to the other side of the camp. He had thought about choosing the tom for his deputy, but for some reason Pantherclaw jumped out at him as somebody he should pick instead. Padding quickly towards the tom, he spoke out as he did so. "Cedarclaw, let's go. Border patrol." It needed to be done and the leader had nothing better to do afterall..

Cedarclaw looked up at Perilstar and nodded curly, before pushing himself onto his paws. The tom carefully followed after Perilstar, his amber flecked orbs showing nothing. His large, ginger paws picked up higher off the ground, and he began to increase his walk to a trot as he hurried after his leader, his tail flicking anxiously. So it was Vividstar now. He followed quietly after the leader, his fur blown by the gentle wind.

Corruptedlie nodded quietly. "Celestialclan have always been strong, even if the new leader is unable to handle it there are cats in that clan that can support her. I was clear that Ghoststar has not intended to die so early on in life. They should do just fine, and Starclan will be there to watch over them." He meowed. Celestialclan business was really not his own, but it was rather sad when you thought about it. He watched Perilstar and Cedarclaw leave, and all at once the camp seemed very alone. "Then again maybe they will find out." He meowed at he watched both toms leave, most likely on a patrol of some sort. "Do you want to go hunting? I could use with some food." He purred.
Corruptedlie to terra.

>> kindlescorch there's a [HEAT] wave comin' on Shafts of sunlight filtered in through the nooks and crannies of the giant willow, arcing off of her lustrous olive green orbs as she squinted down into the camp, tailtip flicking resentfully. Instinctually she dug her daggers into the rough bark, watching disinterestedly as the scraps plummeted down to the ground, already littered with moss and leaves.
In a practiced routine she launched herself out of the hollow, hurtling from branch to branch until with a loud thud she met the ground, sturdy limbs planted square on the earth. She exhaled, letting the sunlight soak into her fiery calico pelt and raising her hind leg to scratch rapidly behind her ears. Haha. How nice it was to wake up every morning and get to tell herself that she was Kindlescorch now. The thrills would be unimaginable.
Her pupils narrowed to ebony slits, practically screaming 'mess with me. I dare you.' as she began to strut through the camp. Of course, it wasn't all fun and games. Not all bark and no bite. Those were her apprentice days, when she thought the world revolved around her. Or that she could get all the satisfaction she needed from being snippy with her elders and getting the last laugh. There were much more important ambitions and goals now; making sure she stayed on top, and that TempestClan was the biggest and the best. From the gossip around camp, little old Ghoststar had kicked the bucket. Leaving some inexperienced mouse-brain in charge. Sounded like some extra territory would be ripe for the taking, but she'd leave the big decisions to her leader...for now, she decided with a smirk, flexing her claws. [/blockquote]

G A L E S T E P The elder walked out of his den and into the clearing in which the TempestClan cats lived. He yawned, stretched, and then walked a little more out into the open. His tail lashed a bit as his Stomach rumbled. The old gray tom took one more step, teetered precariously, and then regained his balance. Now he was going to fix his hunger. A low grumble emerged from his chest, "Where are all those apprentices!" It was their job to take care of him, and he had hunger that had yet to be satisfied. This would be a problem if they didn't get their act together. He would even make the warriors take part in keeping his well being.

Silkenvine nodded her skull shortly agreeing with the words of Corruptedlie. She was hungry as well. And with her leader and a warrior gone the camp did seem empty. But then there was Galestep yowling and she couldn't figure out what the tom thought he was. He was an Elder but he should at least do some things for himself. "Galestep fetch your own food from the fresh-kill pile. You can still walk by the looks of it." The she-cat yowled across the camp. Laughing lightly she smirked and nodded quickly towards the tom she was beside. "Yes let's get out of here. To hunt it is." Her words were quick and she took off towards the camp entrance/exit.

Cedarclaw padded into the camp, his amber eyes shining, paws slightly dragging across the ground, but 'twas unnoticeable. A yawn escaped his maw, ivory pointed teeth shining, claws digging into the ground to keep the tom upright. He clamped his eyes shut, a long sigh emitting from deep within him. He really wanted to go on a hunting patrol, or a sun-high border patrol, but he didn't know who to ask, let alone if the clan needed one. Closing his eyes, he accidentally swayed. He had been lacking in sleep, keeping himself on his paws, doing everything he could to help his clan. Once Newleaf actually came, he would begin to relax the slightest bit, but for now the clan was still in need. They were always in need. The clan always came first.

The long limbs were easily recognizable. Most would be clumsy on them. Most would stumble and fall, tripping on their own appendages. But this she-cat was not. She was a graceful she-cat. Elegant and beautiful, gorgeous, stunning, one not many could hold a light up to. For she outshone them and she knew it. Passing Cedarclaw she smiled lightly at the tom. He was quite handsome and for that reason alone she would allow him into her friendship and possible mate category. She was on the prowl you see. For Tempestclan was without beauty and without beauty it was impossible to get things done. Scoffing lightly at the thought she settled herself down. Waiting for one whom she wished to talk to approach her.

CEDaRCLaW Cadencefury. The name stumbled through his mind, as he watched her walk by, her light blue eyes seeming to hypnotize him, her smile made him so close to tilting his head. A she-cat smiled at him. How unusual. She makes every tom like this, though, thought Cedarclaw. I'm not one to feel any different Seeing her eyes on him as she settled down, Cedarclaw just guessed that it was her way of saying Come and talk to me but Cedarclaw wasn't sure. He got to his paws, arching his back. Cadencefury hadn't really done anything to get on his bad side, but she definitely wasn't one on his good side. Not yet. Cedarclaw loved to make friends, so he tried his hardest to be nice. Even if the she-cat was a total bitch. Most weren't, but some were, and there were sometimes in which, well, truthfully, she had acted like one. She speaks her mind, and had a short temper, but those were a few things Cedarclaw just pushed to the back of his mind. If he wanted to make a new friend, he'd make one, and no one would stop him. Now Cedarclaw didn't have a short temper, he was quiet, but he didn't mind those who did have short tempers, for he tended to calm those cats down. It was something he liked to do, because he didn't like to see an angry cat. He liked to resolve things, sort of like kissing and making up. Placing one ginger paw in front of the other, he edged closer to Cadencefury, his amber hues questionable.
(I'm guessing this is Cadencefury? xD)

The calico she-cat allowed her eyes to batter softly. Her sky blue eyes staring around the camp. Galestep entered her view and she snorted at the fact that he was such a cranky elder. As movement caught her attention she spotted Silkenvine and Corruptedlie leaving camp. She had a crush on the handsome tom. But then again Silkenvine was a beauty and deserved a tom such as him. She would settle down with whomever she wished whenever she wished. She would not be told what to do. AS she spotted Cedarclaw get up on his paws and move towards her she blinked dramatically, letting her eyes wander off to a corner of their cells they were held within. Of course he was coming over to talk to her. She was a cat most wanted to call their friend. She was slightly full of herself and she knew that fact. But who wouldn't be with beauty such as hers. "Ah Cedarclaw, what do you wish to be in my presence for?" Her voice was edgy. A broken shard of glass though it's edges were completely sharp and it would take some pressure should she want it to cut through the skin of another. She wasn't trying to bitch this tom out. No she was just being whom she wanted to be. Feel him out before she would compel herself to treat him as a friend.

A small spark of vehemence set brilliant green eyes into a raging blaze behind that suave-colored curtain, screening all fury-laced emotions from his mediocre, prying clanmates. They'd never know. They'd sure as hell never know. All they saw was a dealthly handsome creature of grace and wisedom.. right? Of course. A soft pit-pat of soft mauve pads caressing the long, slick blades of grass was muffled faintly, as the dew encased all senses. Sickeningly sweet odor clogging his scent glands and swelling up in his fur, causing that displeasing clammy feeling, and the sooner he got to camp, the better. Not because he wanted to be surrounded by the pitiful buffoons that made up his clan, but to settle down with a warm meal, a thorough bath, and maybe a few harsh words thrown before a long nap. Oh yeah. Paradise. A faint, heart-meltingly handsome crooked smirk drifted across his golden maw as the bengal swept himself and all of his glorious presense into TempestClan camp. Junglescreech murmured something silently to himself and scanned the area around the massive, sweeping willow. Mostly scattered with lazy lumps taking their obnoxiously loud noontide naps, some cats were aroused and quietly chatting, as to not awaken their slumbering clanmates. Sickeningly polite. What was TempestClan anymore besides a load of pansies? Shard needed to calm his raging ego and put away his spazzo-claws for a couple seconds, and Junglescreech wouldnt hesititate to join his little band. Lost in his tranquil surroundings and quietly arrogant thoughts, he hardly noticed Cadencefury's presence also sweep into camp, like the cloak of a queen. And, as he looked up to her breath-takingly drop-dead gorgeous self, he frowned with realization. Her ego was messing with his, and drooly, google-eyes over here most certainly wasnt helping. With a soft snort, he wrapped his tail around himself neatly, and straightened his long spine, absolutely demanding attention. A silent war of attention? Most certainly. If he could just get a couple of those ditzy clanmates to look his way with their big doe-eyes, Junglescreech would most certainly win this. Picking up his little hidden smirk, Junglescreech sat back and let the sun soak into his spotted coat.

Ah there was a tom that could capture her attention. That was if she wanted him to. For the fact that Junglescreech thought of himself as highly as she did of herself through her for a spin. She was the queen bee here, and no little worker would through her off her spot at the top. Even Perilstar bowed to her every beck and call. Such weak toms. Their hearts were easy to win anymore. Then again all of Tempestclan was easily weakening. Though Perilstar was starting to mess with the cats of the clans. Make the sissy apprentices who were supposedly warriors stronger and harsher than usual. It was needed however. For Tempestclan was the cruel. Or supposedly. Huffing lightly at the thought she smirked lightly as she watched the actions of the tom, Junglescreech. Who did he think he was? Of course the low life she-cats would throw him attention though she herself would just mess with his ego. Standing and arching her back gracefully she flicked her tail as she let herself stretch in the sun. Her sleek coat, most recently cleaned, reflected the sun brilliantly. Smiling softly at Cedarclaw she looked over at Junglescreech. "Oh you do look alone Junglescreech. Can't attract attention today can we?" Her voice was sweet, though all too malicious and mocking. Calling out to him as if he were a lone kit, abandoned for all the world to see. "You're most welcome to join Cedarclan and myself, that is if you care to have a word with two other cats who might be less than your expectations." Smirking lightly she let laughter roll from her mouth. Poison itself as she sat, curling her tail around her paws and lifting her head with a dignified air of triumph.

The slits moved, drifting slowly across the vast ocean of vivid green, once more flairing before subsiding into a mellow, even gaze of tranquility. No, not tranquility, of brute malice. Long ebony knives slipped out of their cozy shealths, sliding easily into the moist earth, their spark in the waning sunlight sent a shiver down his own spine, while his eyes finally locked with hers. Frozen in a pool of venom, his bright lights flickered, and switched off into a dull, succumbed look like that of an idiot. Let her think that. Let her think she'd won his silly little heart, after all, how would he lose? She was the one who went through pain. Thinking she'd broken his heart when it was the complete opposite. Those silly little females, just oh so delicate with their vivid emotions spilling from their lips, eyes. A low rumble echoed from the pits of his broad chest, coming up his throat and through his lips like a snarl would, but emerged, surprisingly, as a purr. An act. "Yes, oh yes. You pretty little thing, you must be powerful, and so what are you doing with like pansy likes of him?" His deep, gruff voice was laced with delicate tones, like vocals of velvet. "Why dont you come dance with me, little flower? You can break my heart if you want, but I get to have a piece of fun first. Just to be fair," He winked an eye and in a single liquid movement, slipped by her side, plush coat brushing along her patched fur while his eyes glimmered. Oh sure, he would play her game. he'd have a waltz with her, but Junglescreech always won. "Come on, Cadencefury, what's the harm?"

Laughter spilled from the treacherous lips of the dear Cadencefury. Though what would come after her laughter was for the rest to know as soon as her mind thought up words to say. But it wouldn't take long for her mind was quick enough to come up with words that she wished to speak without hesitation. But this was from moons of practice, of being herself and of working on everything she could. Laughing and flicking her tail in his face she prowled around Cedarclaw before settling down staring at the looks of Junglescreech. "Oh please Junglescreech, you won't be getting me. Though you certainly have the looks my tom friend, your charm isn't enough dear tom. Try pulling off a better act, the truth is the only thing that won't fool me." Her voice was charming and sweet. Alluring though holding an all too real meaning. Letting her eyes rest on the tom she smiled lightly and couldn't help but wonder what was going through his head as much as Cedarclaw's thoughts. She wasn't that easy to win over. Oh no. She wasn't love at first sight. Never had been, never would be.

Junglescreech. Lovely, Junglescreech. The tom masked over any emotion that formed over his face, as he approached himself and Cadencefury, obviously bringing along with him harsh words.
Yes, oh yes. You pretty little thing, you must be powerful, and so what are you doing with like pansy likes of him?
Cedarclaw merely took in a sharp, unheard intake of breath, as he dare not bat an eye. The tip of his tail swished impatiently across the ground. "Thanks for the lovely compliment," Cedarclaw merely stated curtly. Nothing had entered his eyes, no emotion masking his face, he stayed where he was, pondering whether or not to lash out at the tom, or to just walk away. He wasn't in the mood for a fight, but he fought his ideas in his head. He just wanted to get away. He wasn't one to take crap from cats like Junglescreech. "Well, Cadencefury, I was just going to...." he trailed off, but continued on, a lie. He didn't want Junglescreech to go on about how foolish he looked, although no matter what he did, he was sure to get a nasty comment in reply. He didn't even take a deep breath before continuing. "I was going to ask if you'd like to accompany me on a hunt, but seeing as we were so rudely interrupted," he meowed, frowning dramatically, like it really mattered, which it didn't, and forced himself forward, "I do believe I'll leave you in the kind presence of Junglescreech?" he suggested quietly, his tone having a mild spice to it, his amber eyes shining happily. He didn't continue speaking, just merely bore his narrowed eyes into the pelt of Junglescreech, forcing himself to not bite down hard on his lip to prevent from saying anything more, no matter how much he'd love to strike out.
