A thinning birch forest, the grass has mostly taken over growing taller than most cats are. The grass is not what you would describe to be lush and in some areas is beginning to die off a little. Prey scurries beneath the grass, and normally thrives. The territory soon thins out where we come upon the lake, with less undergrowth and more trampled grass. This is the other part of Cipherclan territory.

Perilstar hastily moved through the territory he already knew. He was ready to show the new cats of Cipherclan their new home. of course they needed to know their new home for if they didn't how would they ever learn to get around it? His large frame pushed through the grass as he swiftly caught a piece of prey. Carrying it back to a very small space of nothing but dirt he placed the mouse down with the vole he had caught earlier. Smiling as Blitzpaw sped by him and produced a mouse of his own the tom couldn't help but congratulate the young apprentice as he came to set the prey down beside his leader's. "Well done Blitzpaw, you'll have a paw up on apprentices I see. Hopefully you can show the warriors a thing or two." The tom's voice was low and he couldn't help but give a laugh after wards.
-- Blitzpaw was easily engrossed by the fact that his leader thought highly of him. Then again he would show favoritism when Vividstar was not around. It was by far the way Perilstar was. It was expected to say the least. As he looked around for his new "mentor" he couldn't help but spot some of the others whom had come with them. He noticed the numbers were even. On purpose no doubt. Perilstar wasn't mouse-brained. He was playing the game well. Blitzpaw secretly hoped he might be able to have his own fun and games within this whole wild chaotic ride. Maybe it would give him something fun to do.

Coming up at the end of the group, Ravensecret flicked his tail as he drew up with his new apprentice and Perilstar. His mouth filled with the fur of a squirrel, he was unable to speak; that didn't mean he couldn't do something. Dipping his head in respect to Perilstar, he gently placed the prey beside the mouse and the vole. Eyeing Blitzpaw, he meowed, "Good catch Blitzpaw. Nice form." Though he knew already his compliment would go unheard in the apprentice's ears, it did no good to look bad in front of the leader. Though Blitzpaw may already have that planned out. The tom thought darkly.

Winterpaw trailed along behind the rest of patrol, she was beginning to feel so tired now. Little did she know that she would not be returning to her mother tonight, she would be in for a shock when she returned. She rolled her eyes at Blitzpaw and continued on her way, not paying much attention to the others. It was supposed to be a border patrol anyway, not a hunting patrol. She padded not far away from the group, not with them exactly, but not on her own either. Something felt different for some odd reason, it wasn't Cipherclan and it wasn't this territory, even though it was different. It was something she couldn't put her paws on and this irritated her. Lashing her tail a few times she tried to ignore it. Then she heard a soft whisper in her ear, her mothers actually. "Look after yourself, my dear, dear Winterpaw. It will be hard, but I will always be here, watching, never give up...." Her heart thudded a few times as she stopped to look around.

The long wisps of grass clung moistly to his silver pelt, ebony stripes glittering in the growing noontide light as the slender warrior slipped through the birch-dappled meadow silently. His small white paws tread the soft soil and he cringed at the thought of a bath after this mess, but flicking his dark tail begrudgingly, Pounceflash moved along. He shuffled through the sward with almost feminine grace, but suddenly, he lunged forward, claws sailing through the air at the doomed mouse, fated already, and with a quiet squeaky yelp that echoed, making Pounceflash hiss is frustration, the tabby killed the small creature and silently thanked StarClan before turning to scrape a pawful of dirt over it. Tensed in the blink of an eye, he let his dark ears slide forward to pick up the many sounds of the foreign thin forest. Blocking out the screeching melody of birdsong, he realized that there was a patrol out, more than likely consisting of those disgusting TempestClan cats, none of which he was interested in talking with. A moan rose in his throat as the tom realized that they were coming his way, there was no clean escape now, they were too close, and he instantly recognized to most prominent voice. Perilstar! he inwardly spat, limbs trembling with the sudden effort it took to restrain from leaping at the other tom's jugular or scoring his ivory claws across the leader's ears. Face twisting into a bitter grimace, Pounceflash bit his lip to keep from calling out an insult, and only glared silently at the brown tabby, though relieved to find two of his own clanmates beside their 'new' leader. "Perilstar." He murmured curtly, deep voice cold as golden eyes sought out green.

The tom watched as the cats he had called to assemble gathered in the area of Tempestclan territory. Now however, it was more than that. It was Cipherclan territory though the other half of it was somewhere he had not yet been. "Winterpaw! Let's move!" He roared slightly as the she-cat seemed to be moving slowly. He wouldn't accept that. Not now. And then his name was spoken as he continued on his way forward. Paws halting the massive framed tom. He nodded a hasty hello and flicked his tail in greeting. He would not exchange more words than necessary but then again this tom might take that in a way that the Leader was not up to speaking with one from Celestialclan. In a way that was what Perilstar wanted though he couldn't keep playing the 'i hate Celestialclan cats' card every time he was presented with an opportunity. Notorious cheaters were always caught....but the wise ones were not. He struggled for a name quickly trying to remember a few names he had been told by Vividstar on the way home. "Pounceflash, you'll be a great asset to Cipherclan, we may need more like you." The tom mewed looking at the prey that the warrior had killed. He was satisfied with his answer, satisfied that half of his clan had not run screaming, and satisfied that this was all going the way it should.

This was hopeless. Pounceflash why don't you just turn and trot away? If you start talking to him, it's more than likely that you'll end up tempted to tear out his throat.. even more than you already are! And don't even deny it. An unfamiliar voice rang in his ears, causing his scowl to deepen, but his brilliant golden eyes were hidden behind a haze of thoughtfulness, so this expression was obviously not directed towards the leader, despite how much the slender gray tabby would absolutely adore ripping off Perilstar's tail. Before he could swallow his biter words, they slipped out, "Oh I'm touched Perilstar." Pounceflash remarked softly, his gaze drifting from the deadlock it had held with the furry brown tabby. Regret lit his deeply furrowed mask for a moment only, after all, Perilstar was still a leader. Not his leader, but a leader nonetheless. But as soon as the emotion came, he blew it away with a snort, eyes hardening to chips of ice. This was no leader, this was a deceitful villain taking advantage of young emotional females in a mad quest for power. "But really, keep your hollow compliments to yourself, I hunt for my clan and my clan alone. TempestClan can eat my dirt." He added cooly, curling his tailtip distastefully.

Perilstar just smirked lightly at the tom's remarks. He couldn't help but smirk away his eyes lighting up with amusement. He couldn't say attack the tom, he wouldn't want to have others second guess him. He needed to keep a cool head on his body right now. At least for the time being. Perilstar may be a cold, conniving killer but he wasn't naive and stupid. Not like Vividstar. "Funny thing how your clan is Cipherclan now? Hmm? After all wouldn't want to go against your leader now would you?" His eyes sparkled lightly and he flicked his tail with amusement. The tabby tom let his paws carry himself away from Pounceflash. He didn't have time to deal with imbeciles and some of the nut-jobs from Celestialclan.
---
The silver bengal tom slipped quickly through the territory he had been born and raised in. It was normal that he felt comfortable here. That this was where he felt at home. After all his mother was a past leader....what would she think of all this? Wait....why did he care? It wasn't as if the tom was ever close to his mother, Tearstar. Reapingdusk was far from close to anybody though his handsome looks seemed to draw in the she-cats. Now however he wasn't interested with that. He was more interested on trying to figure out what was happening in his clan. Celestialclan cats were in all means...."TempestClan can eat my dirt." The words reached his auds and he couldn't help but halt and stare in the direction. Perilstar was walking away, but Reapingdusk would not. He flew through the brush, ready to sink his claws into the tom. Instead he stopped short, eyes narrowed. "Your leader is the one who put you in this situation, go complain to her." He hissed through his teeth. "And as for dirt...." His hiss ended as he let his cold icy glare meet that of the other tom's eyes.

Winterpaw growled, but it was muffled by her closed maw. She glared daggers at Perilstar's back. She was tired! She had been on her paws for about a day and she would have to last this one too. Her tail lashed behind her, as determined as she was to please others, this was not fair on her. She tossed her head high in the air and marched on. As it appeared there was already an argument breaking out, between the older toms, they should know better. She watched them with her narrowed eyes. Then that silver tom had to butt in. Her teeth gritted as her paws teased the dirt below. She stalked forward, her fur bristling, scarily imitating the body language her father would have used, only more smooth. "I don't know who you think you are, but you are clearly not in charge of us, and we wouldn't be in this position if it wasn't for power hungry fluff brains like you, just look at you standing there thinking you are all that, well you aren't. Speaking of dirt...." She hissed. Taking a pawful of dirt she tossed it in the direction of Reapingdusk's face and growled. "So don't try and tell us who to complain too." She growled, her tail lashing and soft fur bristling. She did not want to just be molded into place like the rest of her clan, she wanted to be strong.

Inwardly, Pounceflash groaned, rolling his handsome golden eyes at the leader. Oh brother! The silver tabby nearly yowled to the heavens, begging StarClan to knock this fool off of his high-horse. After all, how could this possibly be allowed? Surely the anscetors were becoming deathly lazy! And by deathly, he meant it. No good of this would come, and as much as he wanted to knock some sense into Perilstar's brain, he would even more like to flat out kill the bigger tabby and be done with it. That or boot Vividstar out of the seat. Grebewing would probably end up as a better, more sensable leader anyway. Turning to face Perilstar, who was already walkiing away, Pounceflash muttered. "Odd how hilarious you seem to think it is that CelestialClan cats don' want to be lead by some young fool who's cracked in the head, isn't it? Perilstar CipherClan is not my clan. CelestialClan is. And hey, I bet you'd never guess, but TempestClan is yours! What a revelation." He snarled, bearing his canines until he heard another cat approaching, aside from sweet Winterpaw of course. Great. Reapingdusk. Spawn of the oh-so-lovely Tearstar. Sighing, the slender tabby flicked his tail and listened to the bengal go on, blabbing about who knows what. "Reapingdusk, it's really quite silly that all the TempestClan cats seem to think that Vividstar is at fault here. Honestly, do you think a young, emotionally unstable she-cat is to blame for the merging of clans? Do you think the poor girl is on a quest for brutal ambition? I think not. Really I swear TempestClan used to be known for their cunning intelligence, but up close, you might as well be badgers, hm? Lumbering and stupid with claws the size of trees and that's about it." Pounceflash snorted, then glanced at Winterpaw, biting his lip as she threw a pawful of soil into Reapingdusk's face. Be careful Winterpaw! He wanted to yowl, knowing full well that out here, alone and surrounded by two massive, powerful toms, he and his young clanmate wouldn't stand a chance if the TempestClan leader decided to stamp out their rebellion.

All at once the tom's fur bristled as the young apprentice threw a pawful of dirt at him. A smirk played across his face as his gaze turned cold and fixed on the she-cat. "Watch what you say...after all who do you think Vividstar will believe? You two, a warrior and an apprentice, or the one she's fallen in love with. Obviously since she's believed him so far she's going to believe him after. " The tom was not dumb by any measure and he sure wasn't the one putting himself in a stupid spot. Perilstar was paw-steps away and clearly had heard the conversation....perhaps he would step in? Indeed he would.
--------------------------
Conversation was supposed to end as Perilstar left the stupid imbecile from Celestialclan where he stood. But then Reapingdusk came in. The tom was sure to stir trouble, his dear mother was Tearstar and the two were much alike. Reapingdusk was a close pal, so to say. As he heard the apprentice Winterpaw come up and run her mouth he turned in time to see her throwing a pawful of dirt at Reapingdusk. A growl rose from the tom and in a swift movement he was back to the group and threw himself at the apprentice. He was aiming to pin her, teach the little scrap of fur a lesson. "You hold your tongue around warriors, especially those who could easily harm you. Wouldn't want to have everybody questioning where dear Winterpaw went would we?" His voice was low and cold, hissed into her ear and probably audible to Pounceflash but he didn't care. They weren't close to any of the other cats and the "meeting" between the four would be kept private. He knew that Reapingdusk would have his back should Pounceflash decide to attack him. Eyes flashed with intensity and anger as he shoved off the apprentice and turned towards the tom Pounceflash. "Either one of you breathe a word, I'll be sure our next meeting isn't as pleasant." His words were strong and filled with hatred as he looked at each of the Celestialclan cats, his gaze settling on Pounceflash.
--------------------------
Reapingdusk was proud of his leader as he put the apprentice in her place. They would be whipped into shape in no time. With the tension rising the tom himself took a defensive stance, ready to throw himself at Pounceflash if the need should arrive.

Chilled to the bone by Reapingdusk's horrid smirk, a shiver raced down Pounceflash's spine as he let out a long, low growl, golden eyes narrowing in silent threat as the pale bengal spoke, oh-so-challengingly with a smug aura that made Pounceflash's long claws itch with yearning to gouge and eye or shred an ear. "What do you mean, 'believe' what do you plan on telling her, hm?" He snapped, lashing his tail at the same moment his voice rose to a pitch of rage. This was not right! Pounceflash shouldn't be trying to contain his absolute fury against an enemy warrior who provoked him, and he should most certainly not be sleeping in the same den with them! He didn't know where Vividstar would go when she died, but if it was StarClan, he hoped they made her regret what she'd done. Lips pressed into a grim line, Pounceflash suddenly swung around as Perilstar dove from the brush, malice lacing his deathly green eyes. Yowling in a burst of hatred, the smaller silver tabby flung himself at the brown tabby, letting out a low growl that churned in his throat. Pounceflash what are you doing? You idiot he has nine lives, what are you gonna do, kill him? Drive him out? Think again! it was too late though, kin of Ghoststar was already raking his claws along Perilstar's lean frame. "You dare attack a young apprentice?" He screeched, "Monster!"

You dare attack a leader?!" The tom yowled bristling with rage as he threw his weight towards Pounceflash who was attacking Perilstar. Claws were out as he aimed for his back. A yowl came from his throat as he came in contact with the tom. Reapingdusk was bigger, but then again that was how it was. Tempestclan cats were built muscular and strong while Celestialclan cats were sleek and graceful. They didn't have the power to overthrow Perilstar and himself. The two toms could easily take on two more Celestialclan cats. Let it happen. He'd be fine with it. The silver tabby smirked lightly as he let his claws meet fur and flesh. A sick twisted purr erupted from his throat as he felt his claws snag and then release. Finally this was getting fun.
--------
Perilstar yowled lightly pushing Winterpaw away and turning quickly to face Pounceflash, but Reapingdusk already had that handled. Ready to turn back to his apprentice he found himself smiling as Blitzpaw strolled up with a smirk upon his face. He would let the tom handle this is he wanted. That was fine by him. "Blitzpaw it's your show." He laughed deeply and stepped back. His clan could handle this....his clan would put Celestialclan cats into place...maybe that was what needed to be done.
((I'll reply with Blitzpaw after Minty replies))

"I mean no disrespect Perilstar, but no apprentice of mine will attack a clanmate or other apprentice without good reason." A voice snarled. At the edge of the clearing stood another tom, eyes narrowed with fury. Black as the shadows themselves, he had hidden from the group, watching the entire process with grim disbelief. He had expected this, but not from the leader himself. Or maybe he should've; he was the one that had gotten them into this mess. Yet he would not stand for Perilstar just allowing Blitzpaw to attack Winterpaw without doing anything about it. Slowly the large tom strode forward, sliding between the two apprentices to act as a barrier with ease. For a few moments he stared at Blitzpaw with disappointment, then lifted his blue gaze to his so-called 'leader'. He had expected better from his new apprentice, but that just went to show that first judgements could indeed be correct. He was nothing more than a TempestClan bully. "Of course, I have no idea how TempestClan cats were raised. But CelestialClan cats were raised to respect the warrior code. Something that none of you seem to know how to do." He added coldly. Ravensecret stared at the leader, completely motionless, as if to dare him to attack or say more.

"Oh yes Ravensecret, having Pounceflash call Tempestclan dirt for a compliment I gave him is respectful. Having Winterpaw cast dirt into Reapingdusk's eyes is respect. You yourself know nothing of respect, for if you did you wouldn't have entered into a conversation that wasn't yours to be in, in the first place." The leader towered over the tom. He towered over most of the Celestialclan cats and for this he was proud. He prowled towards the tom, easing Blitzpaw to the side. "You wish to enter this conversation, then you put yourself in danger...is that where you want to be?" Perilstar's voice hissed from his teeth, a venomous snake ready to strike.
