The young apprentice jumped into the small clearing, paws landing softly on the grass. She was just behind her mentor Radianteclipse and her friend Serenwinter. Lavenderpaw's purple eyes glowed, she hadn't been training in ages, or so it felt like anyways. She saw the two of them stop over by her friend Reflectedpaw, and scampered over to meet them. Norhtwind was busy with his newest girlfriend Dustedrose.
"Hey Reflectedpaw! How's your mentor treating you?"[] she purred acussingly, shooting a glare at Northwind. She rubbed her nose along Reflectedpaw's flank, her lavender eyes widening as she rememberd that Rflectedpaw was her mentors kit. Oh yes, we used o play in the nursrey together! She thought to herself. Sudenly her tail stoof right on end witha wonderful idea.
"I know! she mewed loudly."Lets do some training together Reflectedpaw! Oh please say you'll let us Radianteclipse!Oh Serenewinter can hel ptoo! Oh pleases say we can!" she begged, her eyes sad and longing.

His tail flicked side to side happily when his mother greeted him and introduced him to her best friend. "Hello." he mewed in a tone that made him sound pleased to meet her. Then he caught the annoyingly sweet scent of a young she-cat. Lavendarpaw, to be exact. He snorted as she approached, coming to talk to him. He jumped back as she pressed her nose to his flank, and he let out a hiss. "My mentor and I are doing just fine." he meowed icily. He laughed as she suggested training. "Me? Train with you?" he was about to let out another full guffaw, but then he realized he was surrounded by his mother, her best friend, his mentor, and his mentor's mate. He would instantly be chastised and he would most likely be punished, if not severely punished. He knew the look of complete astonishment and shock - maybe even fear - that would be stuck on the pretty little face of the other apprentice, and her purple eyes would be opened wide and maybe even have tears streaming. He let out an inward sigh, and then looked up to his mother. "Sounds wonderful.." he meowed through his teeth, and then turned around sharply and padded away. He glared at his mentor for a moment, anger and annoyance towards Lavendarpaw making him take it out on everyone. He let out a sigh, and turned back around. He wasn't mad at Northwind. He just didn't want to have to train with Lavendarpaw.

n o r t h w i n d - - - [ <3 ] Flashing a faintly arrogant grin, the lean warrior dragged his protruding tougue over her pink button nose, moistening it slightly. Long, ringed tabby tail flicking upward, his tailtip curled around her ear for a moment, then realeased, falling limply to his side. "Want to watch me kick this kid's tail? We were gonna take a day off of everything and battle train for a while. I've been looking foreward to whipping Reflectedpaw into shape anyhow." Flashing Dustedrose another crooked, charming grin, Northwind hesitated back a step. They should be close together forever. But no, there was life, ripping them apart. If only a few tail-lengths. Sighing reluctantly, the handsome, scar-laced warrior retreated to the small tabby tom before him. "So.. - oh yeah! That move. Ok, so I was thinkin- ugh," Northwind sighed once more and turned at the scent of another inturuption; Radianteclipse. He wouldnt be surprised if she gave him a good round of verbal abuse for training her son too rough or something ridiculous of the sort. "Hey there Radianteclipse, Serenewinter, Lavenderpaw." He mewed unenthusiastically, turning slightly to see Reflectedpaw's face. He was suddenly sure they shared the same expression. "Bah. He's doing fine. A little on the whiny side, though." He smiled good-naturedly, and touched his apprentice's nose with the frosty white tip of his tail. "Only kidding," He added, glancing at Lavenderpaw, begging her mentor to let she and Reflectedpaw train. "Actually, little girl, I wanted to teach Reflectedpaw some moves today. Give us a bit, I want him to get at least one down before we set you two at each other." Tilting his head to look at the smoky she-cat who was her mentor, he dipped his head, and turned to Reflectedpaw, making sure no one could see his face before giving a goofy expression. "Come on." He trotted past him into a thicker patch of moss, turning to crouch in Reflectedpaw's direction. "I think we should see if you can dash right underneath me. You know what I mean? You gotta be super quick. I'm not gonna stand her and watch you, but I was thinking. It would be cool if your opponent was some beastly huge creature, like those MaliceClan cats, and you slipped right under their forelegs, nipping at their stomach and dashing under their hind legs, then grabbing their tail and running as fast as you can, therefor, yanking it. Ouch! You know what I mean? I suppose this would work better as a last chance thing, or if you were working in a group of small cats and going for the final move, or highly outmatched. I'm not really sure how it'll work with a fighting cat, but let's try it out, eh?" The brown and white tom purred roughly, and stood, pretending to act uninterested and distracted. he'd go easy the first time around.

Good morning day Sorry I’m not there But all my favourite friends Vanished in the air It’s hard to fly when you can’t even run Once I had the world, but now I’ve got no one
Serenewinter stayed stationary as she watched in silence at what went down between the others, however she quickly lost interest and drifted into a day dream. The surrounding forest began to fade away and thin air seemed to replace the terrain. She sucked in a bitter breath of air and looked around her. Nothing. Then she was faintly aware of some faces she knew in Vertigoclan, old friends, not that she ever had many, some of them weren't even her friends anymore. Then she saw Shard, coming through the mist, blood reflected in his eyes, the infamous Eclipseomen at his side, then slowly the rest of the Delirium cats appeared. They wore cunning grins, there was no friendship there, only fear. No love or anything stupid like that to worry about, the only way you could get hurt was in battle, all of them independent and strong minded, taught to have nothing to lose. She raised her head slightly, maybe if she had stayed she would not feel like this, but if she had not returned would she ever have been able to tie up loose ends here, though they had clearly already been tied up for her. A fire burned deep inside her belly, the one that came when she was fighting, killing even. Killing was one thing she had done quite a bit of, Shard ruthlessly ordered it upon those who disobeyed him and loners who annoyed him. She looked to the faded outlines of the Vertigoclan cats and glared hard at them. Being a part of Vertigoclan had only hurt her in the end, Darkfog's figure appeared darker. How she would like to drive her claws through his throat. She sniffed once and flicked her tail, what else was there to stay for? Radianteclipse. A great lump began to rise in her throat, getting larger and larger, leaving less space for air, then she snapped her head up, being called back to reality at the word 'Maliceclan'. "Is Delirium." She hissed under her breath to herself. She heard everything Northwind had said, she could not seem to help herself, after all speed was her best friend. In one swift movement she slipped under Northwind and out the other end. "You mean like that?" She said in an oddly desolate tone, of course she did not need anymore teaching, but it had been ages since she had lost fought with anyone, in a disgusted way, she missed it.
Radianteclipse pursed her lips slightly as she looked down at her apprentice. "Yes, maybe another time, I think you still have a lot to learn, then I can unleash you on my friends apprentice." She meowed, saying the last part in a teasing manner. She rested her tail across Lavenderpaw's shoulder and began to steer her away a little, catching Serenewinter's speed out of the corner of her eye, her pupils widened a little in surprise, once upon a time Serenewinter had been rather bad at fighting, now as she did an example of that battle move she seemed almost excited by it. Turning to Lavenderpaw she looked her apprentice in the eye, green meeting lilac. "Attack me, use the first thing that comes into your head, mind claws sheathed." She meowed.

n o r t h w i n d - - - [ <3] Vibrant eyes widening for a startled moment, northwind stumbled to the side as the lithe white warrior dove under him. Before she had the chance to dart between his hind legs as he stood dumbfounded, the larger tabby and white tom dove away, leaping over her head and tucking in his limbs to fall into a roll. Long, muscular legs popped out in time to pick his lean frame up at the end of the sault, landing with a jolt while he spun to face her, utter astonishment lacing his handsome features. "For StarClan's sake, what was that?" He yelped, glaring slightly, then sat promply down to draw his tougue over his plush coat, now thoroughly ruffled. Finally smoothed to a satisfying slickness, Northwind's head came back up, swiveling to scan Serenewinter's face, still quite baffled. Was she joking? Playing? Serenewinter wasnt known for that kind of thing, and StarClan kiss his tail if MaliceClan taught her to prank! Didnt she realize he was training his apprentice here? Blinking, he stood and shook out his pelt, then swung his head around to glance at Reflectedpaw, wondering if he felt the same confusion here. "Well. Um. Feeling a bit feisty, are we Serenewinter? It would be pretty handy if you could teach some moves you learned over in MaliceClan to Reflectedpaw.. want to?" He chuckled lightly, turning back to the frosty she-cat. "It would be pretty cool for him to learn all sorts of different styles of fighting." The tom added, shrugging.

His eyes narrowed as Serenewinter slipped under his mentor’s body. “You mean like that?” she had mewed. Reflectedpaw’s anger boiled over. “Hey mouse-brain! What’s your name again? Stupidwinter? He was talking to me!” he growled at her, and then launched himself at the she-cat. He clawed at her forepaw, and left a nice clean gash. “Just because you just got back from MaliceClan doesn’t mean some cat died and left you leader. You’re not getting the star treatment, and we’re not going to bow down to you Miss I was in MaliceClan and I know all their moves and I can kick your stupid Clan butt.” he snarled at her, teeth bared. He wanted to look halfway menacing, even if he was barely an apprentice. He did not like this she-cat at all. He hated her more than that freak cat Lavendarpaw. Reflectedpaw knew he was going to be punished, but this she-cat was being completely idiotic.

Lily - I thought you knew better than to god mod. Obviously not. I guess I will be nice and let it slide, don't let it happen again.
If I needed someone to control me If I needed someone to hold me down I would change my direction And save myself before I If I needed someone to control me If I needed someone to push me around I would change my direction And save myself before I drown Rolling faster than I’m breathing, drown Rolling faster than I’m breathing, drown
"Just because you can't do it yet and I can little scrap."
[/i] Her verbal diarrhea came quickly, it all came so quickly, the dunce apprentice, the suicidal thoughts, the longing to kill. She found herself shaking uncontrollably, she had to control it, she had to control it. Although if she let herself go and she did turn around and kill the apprentice, she would not care at all if she got banished from Vertigoclan, not one single little bit, why was she holding back? Refletedpaw was a total asshole just like his father was, like father like son, and like father....he should be gone. A new darkness took over her eyes, almost as if they were murky green, instead of sky blue. Her fur bristled and her claws teased the ground. She chuckled, it was something similar to the sound of knelling bells. She tossed her head back and threw it down, meeting Reflectedpaw's level glare, she was not afraid. Shard's voice guided her, like a proud father. kill. Then she stopped, if she killed the little scrap of fox dung what would that do to her only friend, Radianteclipse. Shard was right. When you had friends, you had problems, when you had acquaintances, you could turn and hurt them if they got on your nerves. Shard was so right. That was what held her back now, how protective she felt over Radianteclipse. The she-cat obviously saw something in the brainless scrap, though in a way the apprentice was hurting her, reminding of her of what was lost, she would always thank her one day. She froze to the spot, she bit down so hard on her kissers there was blood pouring from her maw. She would not kill this one. Shard' voice droned on outraged. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? KILL THE TWIT THEN RETURN TO ME!Sitting down she began to take deep breath's, this wasn't happening, it just wasn't. Starclan had picked her to be the one everyone would hurt, those useless pieces of crap! She couldn't even look at Radianteclipse. She didn't want to be her friend. She wanted to be alone forever, she wouldn't be alone enough in Starclan, too many idiots up there, it would be easier to avoid others down here. Though why should she go to Starclan after killing so many cats, she snorted. Her muscles tensing was a faint rippling of her pelt. Then she fell. She hit the ground with a very faint thud, her thoughts a jumbled mess, her appearance, a jumbled mess. She just didn't care anymore. She had no friends, nobody. She just wanted every single little thing to go away and leave her alone. It was hopeless, pointless. A waste of time. What was she even doing here? Maybe she would be a better excuse for a Tempestclan cat, she would rather fight for them, than this useless snide heartless clan. Strong and good my arse. If anyone saw what really went on behind the walls of Vertigoclan, then they would probably think twice about them. Then the tears started to fall.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Jaw slipping open with a wet pop, Northwind found he could do nothing but gape at his apprentice, then winced, finding hismelf just in time as the feisty, angered tom flew at the ivory she-cat. Letting a rabid snarl pour from his curled lips, slipping through bared teeth, the tabby tom, flew at his apprentice, flinging out a forearm in time to catch Reflectedpaw in the ribs with a massive paw, throwing him to the ground with another growl. Narrowing his mitny green eyes, the warrior towered over the apprentice, eyes like daggers as they bore into his apprentice's pelt. "Well.." He murmured, angered mask fading away to another look of dumbfounded surprise, then hardening up to fury once more. "I have absolutely nothing to say to that. I- I, if you did that when Cometstar wasa young, fiery leader, he'd have your tail whipped so quick you wouldnt have time to yelp!" He snapped, glaring. "You ought to be endlessly embarrassed right now, mousebrain. I- Good StarClan do you know what you just did in front of your mother to a clanmate?" Northwind snapped, trembling with rage by this point. Twisting his jaws together until the sinews in the side of his face bulged slightly, he averted his eyes from the misbehaving apprentice, fearing he'd shred the little twirp to pieces. Could he ever forgive this? It was utterly inexcusable, sick, even. breathing slowly until his racing mind slowed, along with his heaving sides, and the quivers receeded. Opening his maw once more, to speak in a calmer voice, he closed it again, at realization that Serenewinter had just broken down into a crumpled pile, trembling with silent sobs. Wordlessly, he shot Reflectedpaw another venom-glare, and spun, moving to Serenewinter's side and shrinking down beside her. Obviously there was more than just a spasming, naughty apprentice racking her nerves, and Northwind didnt need to know what it was. Folding his hind legs beneathing him, and laying a forepaw over hers, the tom emitted a small, reassuring sound, attempting to meet her eyes, but failing, then giving up. He patted her paw again, and silently cursed himself, searching for something to say, but coming up with nothing.

He stared appalled at the sobbing she-cat, and he felt the hot and fiery glares coming from Northwind and Radianteclipse. He had ultimately embarrassed himself, and he turned away from the scene. Without uttering a single apology or a word of regret, he began walking towards the forest, away from SoftStones. He picked up the pace when he reached the edge of the training grounds, and he broke into a run as he stepped into the undergrowth and the trees. His paws hit the ground quickly and swiftly until his small lungs were crying out in pain. He didn't even look back once, but kept running. There were rocks and rocky cliffs all around him, but he kept it up. His pace hardly slowed down as he jumped down and off a large boulder, and landed weirdly on his paw. A sharp pain in it, but no snap or crack of bone. Sprained. He limped closer to the cliff and then sat down and held his front left paw up. He licked it gingerly and set it down carefully. He looked out and saw the faint outlines of the lake that wasn't very far off from where he was sitting. He flicked his tail back and forth, but not with impatience.

Lavenderpaw's purple eyes became sad as she was gently steered away from her fellow apprentice by her mentor. She just wanted to train with somebody! She sighed, but then gasped as Serenewinter attacked Northwind, or what looked like anyways.Reflectedpaw jumped at her, and Lavenderpaw saw that Serenewinter was just trying to show him how it was to be done. She watched as Northwind grabbed hiom. Lavenderpaw's eyes narrowed in anger at her friend. Serenewinter was just trying to help! Oh Reflectedpaw was so short-tempered. And she quickly turned away from Reflectedpaw, embarrased for him as his mentor yelled at him. Oh Northwind was such a boss. She was glad she had Radianteclipse as her mentor.
"Serenewinter?" she whispered to the ivory she-cat who was crying. " Oh I'm sorry did he hurt you? He's so short-tempered...I am sorry." she murmmered as she walked away.
"Ok, I'll attack you then." she breathed softly, turning her attention to training now, as the other apprentice stalked off. She bent down, crouching on the ground. Wiggling her haunches, she sprang forwards, right at Radianteclipse.

Do you think about Everything you've been through You never thought you'd be so depressed Are you wondering Is it life or death Do you think that there's no one like you We are We are the ones We get knocked down We get back up and stand above the crowd We are one
A short stop and a sudden drop. As the world began to spin around her it felt like she was falling into a hole in the middle, that had been dug especially for her. In fact it was such a deep hole the heads of people watching her may as well have been ants. Between her soft anguished sobs she gasped for any air she could bring into her lungs, her throat felt tight, her whole body felt stiff, but her heart, that was shattered.
She sniffed softly and began to stand up, her lean limbs shaking slightly. She looked at Northwind for a short moment and dipped her head slightly as if to say thanks. Then as if she had not just broken down in a pile of sobs and blood she tried to shakily pad away, but her legs, they wouldn't budge, she couldn't take this, having it happen in front of everyone. She used to have dignity, now even that was gone, what did that leave her with? She sat, or rather fell into a sitting position with a light thud. She twisted around and dragged her tongue along her wound, only then did she start to feel the stinging numbness radiating from it. She stopped herself from flinching away, as she had endured a lot worse over her time away, and half heartedly she finished cleaning it. She shook her head softly as she heard uttered words from Lavenderpaw. "I deserved it." She whispered, speaking for the first time since her short break down. Instead of charming and light, her voice sounded thick with sadness, she sucked in a sharp breath.
Why me?
She just sat there, not able to walk to hide herself, to run away and pretend it never happened, to reach out and free herself. Was this even really happening? It could always be some sort of a dream and when she woke up Shard would be waiting for her to run an errand for him. She hung her head moving it from side to side in slight movements. It was all wrong. She was a mistake. As had been helping Darkfog. She wished she had let him die, alone, depressed, that was what he was doing to her after all. That's what it felt like was happening. It felt like she was dying, the most slow and painful death of all, one caused by love, or was it loathing?
--------------------------
Her jade orbs widened as she felt herself gasping in astonishment. She was sure she had never raised her son to behave like that in all her life? Thats what impression that useless piece of fox dung she called her mate must have left on him. A growl slowly began to escape her as she glared at her son. Never had she seen such behavior before, and coming from her son! He was a disgrace, as was her job at raising him properly. She sighed a deep solemn sigh. She was lost for words, how could he embarrass his family like that? She hoped his punishment would be severe but fair, he had to learn his lesson and until he did she would keep a very careful eye on him. She had not been too hard on her kits she did not find, she had given him freedom, heck, she had given him his life and this was how he re-payed her. Her poor best friend. "I am so sorry Serenewinter, Northwind, forgive me." She meowed softly. Her eyes focused on a distant memory, before she felt the weight of another cat on her and was sent off balance. She fell over with a light thud and her head whipped around to meet lavender eyes. "Oh!" She meowed in shock. "Sorry Lavenderpaw...I was put off, excuse me." She meowed and padded over to where Northwind was, and Serenewinter a little bit away. "What should we do?" She whispered. Although, she would rather have been united with Northwind under different circumstances.

Lavenderpaw smiled as she thudded ontop of her mentor, thinking how wonderful it was for her to be correct on her first try. But when Radianteclipse turned round, her eyes were wide with shock and suprise. It was then that Lavenderpaw realized she had pounced when she should have waited. Radianteclipse wasn't ready for her, wasn't paying attention to her at all. "Oh I'm sorry, I -well I just--I didn't know you were---" her voice trailed off helplessly as she tried to come up with an excuse for her foolish behaviour. Her soft purple hues caught sight of poor Serenewinter again, and as Radianteclipse padded off towards her and Northwind, Lavenderpaw followed. Her poor mentor must be so embarrassed of how her son had acted infront of her friend. Lavenderpaw narrowed her eyes s she thougt of him tramping off into the bushes, blaming others for his stupidity. She plopped down softly beside Sernewinter again, glancing up at the beautiful cat with questioning eyes. "I'm awful sorry about Reflectedpaw...he just, well he really isn't that polite, but still that sn't any excuse..." she trailed off, finding the need to apologize for her fellow Clan-mates behaviour. Lavenderpaw liked this new Serenwinter, and was cmpletly contented to sit by the sad she-cat silently. She wrapped her pale gray tail around her small paws, letting her gaze wander around the clearing. "Do you come from a place better than here... where you have friends who like you for you...?" she breathed so softly she almost didn't hear herslef say the words till they were out. Her head snapped up. "Oh I'm sorry Serenwinter! Oh I really didn't mean to say that...truly I didn't..." she gasped outloud.

Everything was happening so fast! Why was this such a severly drama-ridden clan? Did they really deserve all this mayhem? Was this what made them so strong, mentally? Surely not, there should be other causes, because this chaos was unfair to innocent cats like his beautiful Dusty and poor Serenewinter, and oh poor Abyssbird too. She had a mate that did love her, using her as a cushion for his gap of Serene, weaving hismelf and both she-cats into a heart-breaking web. Northwind had done this once, but he had chosen the right she-cat, he knew. After all, Lilythorn was so sudden, it was odd. Dusty, she was not only his mate and forever-love, but his best friend. At best, all Northwind could do was hope with all of his heart that some sweet, loyal tom would stumble upon this poor, broken she-cat and sweep her up. Shaking his head, he rose alongside the white warrior and glanced at her unsurely, then looked to Reflectedpaw, running off like a shameful coward. Snorting softly, her pricked his ears to pick up Radianteclipse's horrified words, and nodded numbly in acknowledgement. Patting Serenewinter's shoudler, he brushed the tears away softly, and let his gaze slide over to the smoky gray she-cat who spoke softly in his ear, and sighed, turning halfway to her. "Could you send your apprentice after Reflectedpaw? Let him know he will wait on the queens for the next moon." He meowed, hoping the strong scent of milk for a whole moon would nausiate the ruffian tom just a bit. "And.. Serenewinter, do you want to head back to camp or head out on patrol? I caught a wiff of Lilythorn while I was hunting, you two girls could catch up if you want. Either way, I think I will head back. Kitten over there better get her fluff-butt into the nursery before I pick her up and put her there." He purred affectionately, nodding towards Dustedrose.

Serenewinter shook her head all to numbly. She looked over at the apprentice, eyes heavy with sadness as she met the violet orbs reluctantly. "Friends?" She snorted. "Of course not." She meowed. She hung her head for a short moment then raised it all very slowly. "They trained me to be strong, physically, which in time altered my mental state, but that was all, friendly realationships in Delirium, are very rare, even mothers with their kits can have a bad realationship, yet with no realationships to worry about, everything was fine and we focused on being strong instead of who our friends were." She finished in a soft silky voice. She then looked away from Lavenderpaw and looked at Northwind, his caring green orbs, the way he looked over at his very beautiful mate, made her feel like she wanted to sob even more, but she held back her tears. "I should go and find something to put on my wound." She meowed. They had been taught to fend for themselves when hurt in Delirium mainly, even though they did have a healer, but every cat knew how to treat a basic wound since they got so many of them,. Then she remembered about medicine cats. "....or I guess go and see the medicine cat." She meowed not bothered either way. She glanced at Radianteclipse but turned away again, she slowly padded off, catching sight of a cobweb she caught it on her paw and managed to flip it onto her wound.
Serenewinter to terra.
------------
Radianteclipse nodded. "Yes make sure you get her back safe and sound, but I am sure you will." She meowed before turning to face Lavenderpaw. "I am so sorry things have gone terrible today, but could you please go and find Reflectedpaw? Be careful and when you find him, let him know he will be waiting on the queens for a moon, and when you find him tell him to come and find me in camp, I must speak with him when he gets back and take him to Lynxstar, then we shall be done for the day, you can eat, despite that we never got any training done you performed very well today, I will try and get us on a patrol tomorrow." She meowed and turned to pad after Serenewinter, but as she did she got the feeling that she was not wanted, gulping she turned away and headed back to camp.

Lavenderpaw could not hold the suprise from her eyes as Serenewinter spoke about this Deliruim. It sounded so..evil. A malicious grin crept over her face as she thought about the group of rouges or loners..whichever it was. Lavenderpaw grew strangly cold as Serenwinter continued. They were taught to fight...what little Lavenderpaw wanted most. That which was completely avoided today thanks to Reflectedpaw. Lavenderpaw tried to push the thoughts out of her head. The ones that told her to ask Serenewinter where this Clan thing was...how to get there. But maybe she could find her own way there. Lavender eyes glanced back to her mentor as the ivory she-cat left. "Yes, I will uhh go try to find Reflectedpaw. I might be a while though, he ran off quite a while ago." she lied, turning tail and stratin off to the woods. She would find Deliruim.
Lavenderpaw to Deliruim..mwahaha!
