Citrusflower shifted in her sleep and instinctively curled her tail around the kits that she knew where there. One warm brown eye opened slightly, followed by the other. She shifted her body weight and rolled onto her front. Standing off she stretched out her back legs. God that felt good after lying down for so long. Shaking off the stretch, she pushed her front paws out in front of her and pushed down on her legs. Straightening up again she walked over to the nursery entrance to look out, then padded back over to her nest. She sat down and wrapped her tail quite neatly around her paws. It was a joy to sit and watch her kits, she purred down warmly at them. Before leaving on their own an padding over to the frail looking fresh kill pile. She wanted to breath fresh air and run through the forest. She sighed as her claws caressed the ground beneath them gently. Picking up a mouse she went and sat on her own to eat it. However, her kis where on her mind the whole time. She couldn't help it.
Ghoststar exited her den and briefly looked upon Citrusflower, before turning and leaping up onto her rock. It was a pleasant occasion she was going to share with her clan. The naming of two new warriors. The corner's of her maw twitched slightly. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the Highrock." She yowled clearly and waited patiently for her clan to gather. It had been a little while since there had last been a warrior ceremony in the clan. Hopefully this one would raise the spirits of the clan. Pride was hidden inside of her, her apprentice would be a great warrior.
Upon hearing Ghoststars call Nettlescreech raised his head to look up at her, she looked pretty proud and happy. He slowly made his way over to sit beside Citrusflower and waited for what she was going to share with her clan.
Mudsplash left the warriors den stretching each leg in turn. He disappeared to find Moonpaw. He gave her a quick lick on her head. "You will make a brilliant warrior, good luck!" He told her with a proud purr. "I know you miss your old mentor, but I know that she would have been proud of you, I bet you she is watching." He meowed. Flicking his tail for Moonpaw to follow he stood at the foot of the high rock. Beaconing Moonpaw forward.

Cloudpaw and Moonpaw stood together, their coats immaculately groomed, their eyes bright with anticipation and excitment. Of the two, Moonpaw was the most nervous, but some of her worries had subsided at Mudsplash's reassuring words. Moonpaw was beckoned forwards, and as she stepped forward her sister whispered, "Good luck!" to her for extra measure. The black she-cat sat perfectly still, looking up at her silver-furred leader.

Ghoststar couldn't help but smile. Leaping down from the high rock she landed softly at the front of the gathered cats and stood across from Moonpaw, facing the black she-cat.
"I call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in his turn." She called, loud enough for her clan to be able to hear.
"Moonpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?" She asked the apprentice on a more serious note.
Her eyes met the apprentice's gently, her gaze was reassuring as if she was attempting to take her courage, and transfer it to the worried apprentice. It was Moonpaw's moment to shine now.

Her pelt was groomed and her eyes shone brightly. Today Moonpaw and Cloudpaw was to become a warriors. Hushpetal couldn't help but be happy and smile from ear to ear. Her ceremony was running through her head as she bounded from the warrior den and sided beside Mudsplash. "Hello." She whispered quickly, watching Ghoststar.

Merlinsong stretched his long legs and padded out of the warrior's den, having heard Ghoststar's call. He frowned, thinking over all the possibilities of why she might call a meeting. Then, his frown lifted to be replaced by a bright smile as he realized that Moonpaw was getting her warrior name. He stepped out of the den and walked over to stand by Hushpetal and Mudsplash, greeting them with a meow, "Hello," he said before turning back to glance up at the leader who was standing above them to give Moonpaw her name. Merlinsong could remember every detail about his own ceremony, as well as how excited he had felt and the feeling that he could face anyone and win. He had pledged himself for his clan as would this apprentice, and he had held proudly to the warrior code since.

Moonpaw felt something glow inside her, and she said the words with almost no hesitation, "I do," feeling relieved the moment afterwards that she hadn't made a mistake. Of course it was hard to, when it was only two words. She suddenly understood how all the other warriors felt at their ceremonies. Finally, she was truly a part of the Clan.

Tourmalinepaw strode out to the center of the clearing to watch the 2 apprentices become warriors, envying them deeply. She longed to become a warrior. Now she wished she would have gone to the battle and proved herslef worthy of warrior status. Sighing she sat down inbetween 2 cats, not caring to check to see who the are.
how long has it been since the battle, would amythestoculi still be sick?
