Snowflight looked around sleepily, he heard Harvestmoon yelling at Larkstar. "Hey hey, calm down." He knew it was probably suicide to get between the two she-cats but nobody lives forever. "Harvestmoon there was no need to say that to Larkstar, it wasn't nice at all and your causing trouble. I think you should apologize. And Larkstar you have made Harvestmoon angry. As the Leader of ZephyrClan you should set an example and say your sorry too."

Still fuming, burning, seared on the inside, a new voice came, laid back, obnoxious little Snowflight! "Ho, ho, ho, fat chance, tom!" Harvestmoon spat, whipping around to glare at him with a venomous gaze. "I had done nothing wrong, and don't even play peacemaker here, Snowflight," She spat, "I think we all know who you, and everyone else, favors, though I haven't the slightest clue why." She hissed, tail lashing angrily, she could tell Larkstar wouldn't reply though, she was falsly pretending to be 'concerned' over Screechpaw, though, telling by the boredom in her eyes, she'd rather be lazily napping right now. Lovely leader she is. Harvestmoon's eyes were coldly narrowed, "Come on tom." She growled in Wreathedmoon's direction, stalking stifly out of camp, not sure whether she's return or not, StarClan forbid, Larkstar sure wouldn't care.HARVeSTMooN TO TErrA

Snowflight shook his head confused. "You would think that they would want to make up. Anger isn't a pleasant emotion. So why does she feel the need to hold on to it?" He spoke to no one in particular. He just spoke to himself at times. "And why did she call me a peacemaker? I mean sure I like it when everyone is getting along....." He didn't know what to do but he got a odd feeling not doing anything. So he fallowed her.

Wreathedmoon relaxed his position a bit as Larkstar expressed more anger towards Harvestmoon than he. The tom's eyes grew large as Larkstar told them to go on a hunting patrol. Wreathedmoon opened his mouth to protest, but Harvestmoon beat him to it. She snarled angrily and Wreathedmoon jumped in, "Don't oppose the leader, she-cat.' He bared his perfectly white teeth and took a step he considered menacing towards her. Wreathedmoon wondered why she had to be so difficult. "Oh, yes Harvestmoon, your so innocent." Right now, the tomcat wanted nothing more than to sink his fangs into her perfectly groomed pelt.
Harvestmoon took off in a rage, as Snowstrike attempted to calm her and Larkstar. Wreathedmoon ignored the tom, he was irritated Snowstrike butted his head into it all. He raced after Harvestmoon with full speed. Now that his head was clearing up, retorts not filling it, Wreathedmoon could think clearly. He'd need to talk to Harvestmoon. But oh no, he wouldn't be the one to apologize first, she'd have to take the blame.

Oh, so the she-cat had finally decided to speak to him now that she was curious. "Screechpaw overreacting again." He meowed in her ear. Low enough so that asnyone trying to listen in would have just heard a quiet murmer. His tail flicked from side to side as he looked around camp, waiting for his leaders reply. He doubted that anything really was wrong, as Screechpaw was often overreacting, but he would not like to risk a cats life over it.

"I don't see how overreacting to something would make her pass out. And where's the medicine cat when you need her?" She murmured back, now kind of aggravated at the tone of voice the warrior used. " And I don't believe I was asking you, but whatever you probably know just as much as Sapphireshard does. If you'll excuse me I'm going to go check on Screechpaw." Shadowedpaw forced herself to dip her head in respect then slowly walked away, trying to make it seem as if she were eager to leave the rude tom in a cloud of dust.
Entering the medicine cat den she saw a limp and helpless looking Screechpaw. She curled her body delicately around the younger apprentice, trying to comfort herself but also keep the limp body warm in case that is what she needed to wake up. Feeling a little awkward, Shadowedpaw started slowly rasping her tongue over the cold mound of fur, like a mother would while her kit was sleeping.

Come on, is this the best you can do? Larkstar thought, tail curling up in amusement, though she was careful to conceal it from the furious ginger warrior. She probably thought she was trying to control her anger, but if anything, it was hilarious to watch Harvestmoon explode, disrespecting her leader and making a fool of herself simultaneously. Yes, the ZephyrClan leader was annoyed, enraged even, that the warrior would have the nerve to falsely accuse her in front of almost her whole clan, but just like a skinny cat ruffling its fur to make itself more intimidating, Harvestmoon was just grasping at thin air to make herself look better. And she took relaxation in the fact that any cat with half a brain could see that.
As the flaming red she-cat stalked off huffily with the deputy trailing far behind, Larkstar made no move to retalliate, verbally or physically. Best to let her simmer down, though she would probably never come to terms with how much of a pissy brat she was. It was a shame Driftingice didn't have the guts to tell her.
"Snowflight," she snapped, her tail lashing irritably, "Being leader of ZephyrClan, I think I can make my own decisions, thanks. I'll let you know when I need your input." To her relief, the warrior had left the camp shortly after the other two.
For a moment the beige she-cat felt a moment of self-doubt. Every cat knew she was a fresh, unexperienced leader, herself most of all. Did I really handle that right? Harvestmoon had lashed out, accusing her of never caring about Honeypaw and on top of that, being too proud. Nonsense, her conscience hissed, and you know it. She was the one who never gave Honeypaw a fair shake, and any cat needs pride when you're dealing with that piece of fox dung.
She still wasn't convinced, and as she sat somberly, reflecting on her actions, her ice blue eyes clouded over with grief. Then she shook her head, clearing her thoughts. There was more important matters to take care of, and the only way she could prove to her clan she was a good leader was by being one. Who knew, maybe things would work out; all she needed was a bright outlook. Even on Harvestmoon, and though it was difficult, she tried to clear her mind of all negative thoughts.
While the ginger warrior had been bickering with her, Screechpaw had apparently blacked out. She had missed it, but her adept ears had been able to pick up most of the conversation. She dipped her head towards Crypticstreak and mewed, "I'm not sure where Fallenleaf has disappeared to, but if her absence continues much longer, it may be time for Screechpaw to make a trip to the glacier. She's been training quite a while now. I think she'll recover soon enough from this anyways." She outstretched a paw and groomed swiftly as she waited for some input from the warrior. It felt weird, normally this was something she'd discuss with her deputy, but Crypticstreak was knowledgeable enough. [/blockquote]

~Winterkit~
Two teal colored eyes tracked the movement outside the nursery. Sniffing the young tom rubbed his paws on the ground and then stretched. Pulling himself to his paws he stepped out of his concealing shadow. Trotting easily across the camp the kit sat a few tail lengths away from Larkstar and Crypticstreak. The toms fur shone and his large eyes glittered as he waited to speak with his leader about being apprenticed.
The not usually social Winterkit glanced around him. His fur prickled uneasily as he watched a warrior pad from one of the thick bramble den's toward the fresh-kill pile. He inwardly hoped that no cat would approach him. . but some part of him wanted to make friends. The kit sighed, shook his fur and curled his banded tail around his fore-paws. He was patiant like any good hunter would be he wondered breifly where his wayward brother was but shrugged the thought away. Fallowkit could take care of himself.
~Fallowkit~
A rather giant kit yawned and rose. A scrap of moss drifted off of a black tufted ear and the kit whipped out a large paw to pin it to the earth. Letting go of the bedding he reached out with his fore-paws to ease the sleepiness from his limbs. Unsheathing his claws he ripped neat little furrows into the earth before straightening up and bounding from the abandoned den.
Fallowkit's unusual bulk drew some attention to him and he looked back at each cat who turned his way with enchanting silvery blue eyes. The kit flexed his already developing muscles and sat down near the fresh-kill pile. His gaze roamed and caught sight of Winterkit. Fallowkit drew himself up and had just taken a step when a voice broke his concentration and his head turned to see a large tortishell tom drawing a plump hare from the aromic prey pile.
~Darkwaters~
A tail wavered in the air over a handsome tom's back. Black fur contrasted greatly with the bright patches of beige. A deep rust red curve of fur arched from behind the tom's head, down the side of his neck to mingle nicely with a beige patch. Brilliant yellow eyes searched the camp but didn't find what they were looking for. The warrior sprang gracefully from his perch and dashed across the camp. Reaching the fresh-kill pile he sat sown, tail twitching. Regarding the prey he reilized that he really wanted a hare, but probablly could not eat a whole one himself. He needed a little help. Casting his burning gaze he noticed Fallowkit and called him over. "Hey. . Fallowkit wanna share this with me?"
~Fallowkit~
Fallowkit's ear rotated slightly then he grinned and nodded. "Sure Darkwaters that hare looks tasty." Moving up beside the much larger warrior Fallowkit couldn't surpress a small purr as he padded a few lengths away with the tortishell tom and crouched down to take a huge bite of the succulent meal. Hare hair soon coated the kit's muzzle and he sneezed, bringing a chuckle from Darkwaters. The two toms settled into a rythm and said no more. Munching happily.
~Darkwaters~
The warrior was a bit surprised. Fallowkit and Winterkit were neigh inseperable since they were born. He didn't mind though and smiled at the promising kit. They moved a ways away and tucked in. Darkwaters ate slower and savored the blood and meat of the hare. Fallowkit seemed famished and tore into it with a vigor that made Darkwaters laugh. Raising his head up he surveyed the camp one last time to see if any other cats were about.

You must continue on with your life. Even though I have left, doesn't mean you can't continue your training. You must become the medicine cat as well as learn how to be one. It may be hard, but I know with your determination you can do it.
Screechpaw awoke to a gentle tongue rasping over her fur. To her surprise it was Shadowedpaw. "FALLENLEAF!" she screamed. Jumping to her feet, and realizing it was a big mistake. Luckily Shadowedpaw was right there waiting to steady her. Slowly the young medicine cat apprentice made her way out into the clearing toward Larkstar. Larkstar, Fallenleaf has contacted me through a dream, she said that she has left and now I must take the role as medicine cat. If you don't believe me you can either ask StarClan yourself, or just wait a while longer to see if she returns, though I know she won't." She meowed solemnly.

Sapphireshard wasn't really getting involved in what was going on around her, but she never really did anyway, unless it concerned her. She wasn't vain or anything, she just didn't see all this as particularly important to her. She looked around to see that Shadowedpaw had disappeared, but they could go out training later. Sapphireshard remembered the young cat saying she was going to check on Screechpaw. Shaking her head slightly, she vowed to herself that she would stop drifting off into daydreams whenever she wasn't talking. It was definitely a bad habit, one that could put her at a disadvantage in a lot of situations. She decided that she was probably tired, and so she padded over to the warriors' den. Just for a quick nap, of course. She didn't want to be thought of as lazy. But no-one really noticed her anyway. Sometimes it felt like she was part of the scenery; perhaps it was her mottled pelt making her blend in. Sighing, she curled up in her nest and drifted off to sleep, the sunlight filtering in through the leaves above her and warming her pelt.
