even when I'm with you
She knew, she really did! It was just so utterly childish to act like this, like a helpless, mewling, downy-furred kit! 'Oh, dear, whatever will I do without my buddy?' She snarled inwardly at herself, then realizing how pitiful is was that she sneered and scolded herself, and let her beautiful head hang limply, dejectedly, as she waited for her apprentice, and worried over herself. What if she studdered? Wouldn't that be dreadful? How was she supposed to teach the darn cat anyway? Anxious, she bent and lapped up some cool water, flowing from a spring near CelestialClan, she knew by memory. She felt the liquid ripple down his spine and enjoyed the chilling, but refreshing, moment with relish, but it was gone, no one to share it with as she waited for Mirrorpaw.

Dunepaw
Peering out anxiously from the shelter of a small willow, he watched a gorgeous white she-cat, pacing and shaking her head like she was in distress. Talking to herself, consoling herself, scolding herself. Well, someone's a stalker his bitter, ever-sarcastic conscience chided. The apprentice let out a low, throaty growl. That wasn't true, he had been here first. The white cat had invaded his sanctuary. His sanctuary from the rest of the world.
She was waiting for someone. But the cat she was waiting for wasn't the one she wanted to see. How ironic, was it not, that he could read them so well? His number one fear, and he could tell all about them from a glance. He shook his head and retreated back into the willow's comforting presence. Maybe she would leave soon. She was always with that ginger one, the color of the harvest moon. They couldn't be apart long.

Leaves flew through the air as she ran away from all of her fears and worries. She knew she couldn't stay out long because her mentor would be looking for her eventually. She just needed to clear her head. All of a sudden she froze stiff. In her aimless wandering she almost bumped into Duskpaw. It was a good thing he was distracted by something, that Screechpaw currently didn't care about, otherwise he would wonder what she was doing running full speed through the territory. She slowly backed away trying to make as little noise as possible. As soon as she was out of earshot she let herself fall apart. "Stupid, stupid furball. What was I thinking. I should have known to keep my senses alert. What if I crossed a boundary line. I am so mouse-brained. Now instead of clearing my head I'm gonna have to do something more productive, lie searching for herbs, just so I don't feel as stupid and to distract me thoughts from me being completely idiotic... Wait, why am I saying this all out loud?" Then she scampered off again to identify as many herbs as possible and collect some that she knew her clan was low on.

Utterly disgruntled by it all, everything, as she often became overwhelmed quickly, Drifitngice's thoughts rsaced frantically, though, soon enough, it turned frustrated. Where is that undisciplined she-cat? She wondered sourly, letting her tail sway, serene now that she was sure her apprentice had forgotten their meeting, and wasn't coming. Bliss sunk into her delicate flesh. All around were the calm, gently swaying grasses of the ZephyrClan plain, bringing peace to the pretty young she-cat. SIghing, she took a step forward, unsure. Then another, and another, peircing lights warily shifted about, making sure no one was watching, she finally made up her mind, and slipped into the lazily flowing stream, wincing as the icy liquid froze her painfully burnt and, therefor delicate pawpads. However, this chilliness was a great releif. She let out another sigh, this one of happiness as she settled into the water, now around her shoulders, and closed her eyes, letting her thoughts take her away.
Though it was sometime later, it felt like only seconds that StarClan had spared the she-cat to reminisce and relax when her eyes flew wide open, startled out of her wits by the sound of clashing cats very close by, she leapt, and, of course, failed, forgeting she was in a stream, and it's very dificult to leap when you're in water. Instead, she made a splashing ruckus in the process of rushing out of the brook, finally on land, she swung her dainty head from side to side, blinking wearily. What have I done so wrong StarClan? She prayed, exasperated, but fully curious, she padded over stepping stones to the other side, unaware that she was still soaked, she searched for the sourse of the sounds.

The pale brown apprentice yelped as someone, something, collided into him from the back, and as he regained his focus all that was left to see was the fluttering of leaves, the swaying of the moor grasses. He shivered, trembling from the encounter and tail tucked timidly between his hind legs. His ears were folded back stiffly, golden eyes wide and intense. Why was everyone suddenly so intent to disrupt his peace? First that white cat, the one with the scarred pawpads, now some unknown intruder. It wasn't fair.
The ivory she-cat had been wallowing in the glacial streams, and was now standing on the bank, her long fur drenched and blue gaze still searching. Thankfully he was out of sight, hopefully out of scent, but this temporary sanctuary was just too risky now. Bolting from the willow's refuge on swift paws, he darted over the moorlands, escaping to where he hoped no one would discover him.

While sniffing out as many herbs as she could remember, Screechpaw heard a commotion off in the distance. Knowing that one of border patrols could be in a tussle she decide to turn back. Suddenly, She ran across Duskpaw's scent again. Fighting the urge to find out where he was going, she padded slowly back to camp. Not wanting to know about the boredom that lies in wait.

The cerulean sky shone overhead and the sun pierced through the thin cloud cover as he settled into the grass, sprawled out amongst a cluster of rocks. He had caught a cat's scent as he made a dash for cover, presumably his earlier attacker. Definitely a ZephyrClan cat, a she-cat with the spicy tang of herbs all over her. His first thought was Fallenleaf, the medicine cat, but the feline who had bowled into him was much smaller. The medicine cat apprentice, he decided, though he didn't know her name.
Then again, it hardly mattered, except that he would have to be more careful. Keep on eye on your surroundings he scolded himself as he began gnawing contentedly on a stalk of wheat. The same thought process ran through his head as it always did - how nice it would be if he could lead a normal apprentice's life, be training joyfully with his mentor right now. It would be moons, many, many moons, before he would ever be anything but Dunepaw. But he couldn't bring himself to do it - confrontation. There was no way he could fight that fear that glued him to the spot in rigid horror. No one cares, anyways. he thought miserably, his tail twitching feebly against the ground.I'll just train myself. h a r v e s t m o o n The white-hot flashes of anger were still pulsing throughout the lean warrior's bodice, her paws carrying her swiftly, if only to get away from Wreathedmoon, though she knew haste would not help when he was following. Who was she kidding? She'd have to face this dratted patrol with that lump AND whatever punishment Larkstar decided to pile on top of it. Probabaly apprentice duties until she 'proved' herself. And when would that be? When Larkstar was dead in the ground. Sour, now more than ever, Harvestmoon threw a glare over her shoulder, surprising herself to catch two pairs of bright bleu eyes instead of just one, jumping, Harvestmoon whipped around and snarled, "What do you think you're doing here?" She snapped at Snowflight, lashing her whip-like tail venomously.
---
d r i f t i n g i c e Dripping yet, the long-furred warrior graoned, now she'd have to dry and clean all that? She glared at her silken coat, wishing serenity and relaxation didn't come with a price. Ha. Cool blue pools were shadowed, Dunepaw and Screechpaw now gone from her melded thoughts, if Dunepaw wanted to mope and hide, let 'im. What the other was up to, she didn't care. At this point, Driftingice's mind was centered on other, more confusing things, her mind usually flowed to this when she was alone. Romance? No, kits. It was ridiculous how much she wanted young of her own, carry on her bloodline, to feel real love, and have a warm body to sooth her during her nightmares, if that was concidered romance, then yes, romance, she dwelled on these silly, love-sick apprentice-like thoughts now, finding herself a nice tall willow to hide in, and lounged over the brook on a branch, thinking of all the toms in the clan.

WREATHeDMooN
He raced after Harvestmoon, silently, and as swiftly as his short legs could manage. Wreathedmoon was built to fight, not run around chasing after hot-headed she-cats. The tom snorted with annoyance, and spotted her silhouette ahead. "Where do you think your going?" Wreathedmoon called after her. The tom began to slow his pace after she stopped, and seemed to be talking to someone. It was....Snowstrike. Great. Wonderful. Wreathedmoon reached the two and glared at Harvestmoon and Snowstrike in turn. "Snowstrike, get out of 'ere. I'm sick of you butting in." Wreathedmoon hissed, fixing his cold stare on the tom. He decided he took care of one of the problems, and turned to Harvestmoon. All the tom's wits protested, telling him to get away. But he didn't listen. "Harvestmoon. Lets just get through all of this. He grunted, staring at the ground below him. Wreathedmoon wondered to himself why it had to be him. Why couldn't it just be easy? taintedc h a r mHe just wanted to get away, away from it all. Taintedcharm sighed, he was feeling more depressed today than usual. He had no friends, wow, surprise, surprise. Maybe today is the apocolypse, woo! The tom thought sarcastically to himself. Taintedcharm was just strolling, nowhere in particular. All of a sudden, he intook a sharp breath as his eyes stared into bright blue eyes and a white pelt. It was Driftingice, Taintedcharm noted. He thought she was beautiful somewhere in the back of his mind. The tom sat where he was, hoping she wouldn't notice him. He felt small, and unimportant.[/sup][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Flamebreeze Flamebreeze sits on a rock viewing the peaceful moor. "What a peaceful day..."she sighed. A warm breeze passes through, and then Flamebreeze hears a prey. "Eh?"She quietly jumps off the rock and stalks around, trying to sense what ever the prey was. The grass rustled. It was a hare. The hare heard something and ran. Flamebreeze rushed after it. She crouched and jumped after it. But missed. "Mousedung!" she spat. A chatter arises when Flamebreeze ran after the hare, distracting her. "Now what?!"

h a r v e s t m o o n Her glinting pools blazed once more as her nemisis finally caught up, still screeching at her about some nonsense. Where was she going? Well, wasn't that a little obvious? "I'm patroling with you, genius." She snapped, glaring, now at both toms, really wanting to dig her claws into one of them, now... which? "Where d'you think I going, smart one," She snarled, now ignoring Snowflight completely as he dawdled. She felt a tinge of something when Wreathedmoon joined in at ratting on Snowstrike, though surely the uptight deputy would use a nobler word. She glared at Wreathedmoon not for the first time, then whipped around once more, and trotted off, not caring if he followed or not. "Well it's not like Larktard's got spies, go ahead, get outta here!" She snarled when he caught up once more, her nose just hairs away from his.
---
d r i f t i n g i c e Shifting on her branch ever so slighty, careful not to tumble off, Driftingice caught a movement down below, something was rustling the tall grass up ahead, bunching up, she hoped whoever was once again, poking around or spying, wouldn't see her, and leave her alone. But when she shifted again to curl up tight, she slipped, her hind foot grazing the branch below hers for a grip, hit the twig, it snapped, so when her other hind leg came down to also land on the now snapped branch, of course Driftingice plumited, twisting to land on her feet. When he did, her back was arched, beautiful face twisted to a silent snarl to fend off whoever was hiding. "Taintedcharm?" She quietly inquired to herself as the solumn tom appeared finally. She let her hackles settle, he frame returning from it's contorted stance.

Something inside of Snowflight snapped. "For your information oh great and mighty deputy I am not "butting in".You weren't exactly helping in the least acting like a kit this morning! Squabbling like a apprentices over a piece of fresh-kill! Honestly how can you expect Lakrstar to be a good leader when her deputy the one she is counting on most acts so immature! And you!" He turned to Harvestmoon. "As far as I can see your not exactly the cat to tell others that they treat everyone like dirt! Sorry if I offend miss high and mighty, you say we are not TempstClan yet you can't let go of your pride long enough to prove it!" He was so surprised at how angry he was. "I strongly advise you both apologize right now." His voice was calmer but carried the sound of a threat.

The annoyed warrior didn't like this bickering that was coming off in the distance. She was hoping for some quiet time but it seems that there's always noisy cat mostly everywhere. Flamebreeze heavily padded towards the chatter. She saw Snowflight and Harvestmoon. The blazing she-cat was holding back her anger for the first time. She kept a far distance from them, thinking it was best for her not to butt in. A little growl came out of warrior, reliving the anger built on her just because of some arguement. Flamebreeze simply turned around and went to fetch some more prey, leaving the two cats to argue. If it would continue, she would have no choice but to butt in anyways.

h a r v e s t m o o n Annoyance pricked and jabbed at Harvestmoon as she trotted over to Wreathedmoon's side, snarling like a madcat, her tail lashing like a frenzied serpent. Baring her razors, she unhesitantly took a step forward, her head held high. "Scat, cat." She told him, seating herself before him to examine her claws. "I'm not interested in your foolish sucking up. I'm afraid it will get you no where." Her eyes moved up from her claws into his eyes in a flash, they were like venom, deadly cold.

Snowflight let his eyes narrow. "I see you need time to think about it, but if you ever casue trouble like that again, or call me a suck-up, you may find that there's more to me than kit down and roses." He turned and stormed off. Great, now he was angry.
