Strike look at Tearstar. Than started laughing loudly. Partly because what she said tickled him in a way and partly because he wanted Vortex to know he was there. "She wants me" He said smiling in a cross between a smirk and an amused look.

Staring down the tom she gave a smile and then joined his laugh. HIs words shocked her and she couldn't help but repeat the same thing she had done earlier when he had tried to mess with her. Pushing down with her claws out she took her claws in and called out to Twistersoul. "Check in with Lonerequiem and the other loner Vortex. Tell them we have Strike here as well and her fate is up to the clan. It will be decided within time." Watching Twistersoul walk away and Torrentpaw follow she gave a smile to Strike before narrowing her eyes. "My den now. I'm watching over you myself. You want to try and run again, I'll have Twistersoul attack this time." Her voice was concerned and yet held a commanding tone.

Amusement dancing across his face, crystal pools glimmered at her as the loner looked back in horror at being stuck with him. He snorted and looked away, only too used to it. But, at least she wasn't attacking or trying to flee or anything else ridiculous, for she'd already learned the black tom was a force to be reckoned with. He flicked his tail as he gazed upon the action just outside the den, surprised Vortex wasn't peering out too. Lonerequiem nodded to the approaching Twistersoul. "I'll tell her," He meowed to the other tom, turning, he met green eyes. "Your damsel in distress is here." He meowed humorlessly. "You and his fates are to be decided by the clan at some point." Lonereqiuem always seemed to bring an ominous message back down to size. "But i doubt they'd kill you, StarClan and all." He shrugged.

She didn't care to look out at what was happening. She didn't want to be any closer to Lonerequiem then she had to. It was not an option for her, she saw him as somebody who could end her life. She didn't want to put up with him and wanted somebody else to guard her, though the tactics of sticking the very tom who had hurt her with her were brilliant. She had to hand it to the clan they weren't as dumb as the looked. Curling into a ball as the tom talked to another, Vortex shoved her nose under her tail, faded jade orbs staring at Lonereqiuem. His gaze met hers and she continued to look, not willing to be the one who gave way to his gaze. "Hmph. We'll that's interesting. I don't even know that tom....I know he's a loner and that's about it. And if you're not going to kill us what will happen?" She questioned him because she had the right to. Or so she thought. IF she was going to have her fate decided by the clan she wanted to know what a clan member thought she could be punished with.

Lonerequiem was still quite amused with the she-cat, and the many expressions that danced across her face. He gave a small smile and shook his head, he thought about telling her she'd been slung over his shoulders for a while before she'd woken up, but didn't think he'd like he reaction or awkwardness of that. She was speaking again, and he pricked his ears to listen. "Why'd you attempt to save him then?" He asked, knowing she'd probabaly not answer that. She was still speaking. "I don't know what will happen, I'm not a big partaker in clan rtiuals. I sit, I watch, I leave. Thanks to you I'll be sitting and watching alot more than I'd like. Personally I'd rather be wandering the meadow or something." He sighed, amazed that he'd spoken so much at one time. She was drawing it out of him, she was different, exotic. Req wondered where she'd seen or gone or came from, who'd she'd won and lost, what adventures she'd embarked upon... Lonerequiem soon blinked the thoughts away and shrugged. "I guess it was dumb of you to leap on clan territory and attack some massive well trained warrior." He didn't speak vainly, only matter-of-factly. His deep voice always had that no-nonsese pitch to it.

Watching him smile she narrowed her eyes and thought about sticking her tongue out at him, but how kit like that would be. She was way past those days...but sometimes it seemed the kit like things were the only way to reply effectively. Listening to his words she couldn't help but roll her eyes and give a sigh. He was so boring to listen to, she'd rather listen to Strike talk to the she-cats. Vortex had only heard a few moments of his speech towards Harmonydance and Tearstar and it was enough to make her puke. However this tom was so....so.....she didn't know. And what she was thinking she wasn't about to admit. She couldn't admit things like that, it made her vulnerable to others and the rumors that could come from how she spoke. Deciding to answer all the questions and comments he had made she began to start in, her voice muffled slightly from being under her tail. "I attempted to save him because he's one like I am. Just like you clan cats stick together and fight for one another, I'd gladly fight to save another loner like myself. I'm not an arrogant rogue you know. And that's just great, the one big mass of fur I get stuck with knows nothing of his clan and how they deal with cats like myself. And dumb? Well dumb you may call it but it was better than leaping onto the other she-cat that was there with you. Clan she-cats are a terror to face, so emotional. " Rolling her eyes once more as she let her voice drift off into nothing.

Still watching, always watching. It's was a 'Req Specialty' at read expressions, and she was bored, with him. Surprise, surprise. The big mean emo kid's never too exciting. He wanted to know.. everything, but he couldn't possibly bring down his dignity and begin to ask questions like an awestruck apprentice. He rolled his eyes and snorted, "Neither of you should have been on TempestClan to begin with. Now if Tearstar tortures you or something ridiculous like such, then you have him to thank." Closing his eyes, he turned his head to stare out to small hole in the tree. "And I'm a better clan cat than 'the she-cat next to me' she just stood there and cowered most of the time. I'm a TempestClan cat through and through, at least I'll fight." He snorted, pausing. "Especially Harmonydance." He agreed finally, eyes open once more, but not turning his face back.

Watching him turn away she breathed a sigh of relief and relaxed. At least he couldn't watch her now, it made her uncomfortable when he watched her. Having a tom like him, staring at her. It was so...so...exhilarating in a freaky sort of way. Her eyes stared at his frame, watching intently until he turned around and she had to look away swiftly. She couldn't be caught staring now could she? That'd take the already awkward feeling to another level all together. Somewhere deep down she knew there was a feeling for the cat who was guarding her way to freedom, but that was deep deep down, squished beneath the hatred for him hurting her and the curiosity of him. "I know I shouldn't of been. It wasn't my fault that stupid flea bag was on your territory and forced me to help. So her name is Harmonydance, well that's stupid. " Letting the name go through her mind and register as a cat to watch for, Vortex continued to stare, remembering that she didn't know this tom's name. She didn't want to ask though....maybe she'd just tell him her name. She had heard Tearstar speak it...maybe Strike had told her. "Ummm..anyways I'm Vortex." Her voice was small and minuscule, almost a whisper.

Awful jumpy. He inwardly chuckled, but made no noticable movements, knowing he'd seem just as cocky as that Strike character, and he was certainly not. She thought he was creepy. He knew she did and.. well... he was. He knew it, but didn't much care anyway. Let the loner be creeped out, whose business was it anyway? He'd stare at whomever he wanted to. He shrugged it off mentally and resued his creepy staring, not caring if he met hers eyes or not. "At her weak retort to Harmonydance's name, he couldn't help but let out a laugh, muscular bodice gentle shaking as he let out a rumbling purr. "I think her name is pretty." He admitted with a mischeivious glint in his silver eyes. Finally she spoke agian, he nodded. "Welcome to TempestClan's prisoner den, Vortex, my calling is Lonerequiem. Of course, my name is sore of the tougue, if you must, you may call me Req." Speaking to much again. He cursed silently.

She didn't think he was so much creepy, just odd. It was uncomfortable to be watched by another that made your heart race with a single glance. No! She wasn't going to think that way, Bad Vortex{/i] she scolded herself. Made that she would ever think of this tom, this Lonereqiem that way. As he looked back to her, Vortex's orbs danced away, looking towards the ground, her paw tracing random patterns. She needed to keep herself occupied as he stared. As he laughed at her, she couldn't help but feel her eyes narrow. Slowly shaking it off she listened intently, pretty?! What was that flea bag thinking, Harmonydance pretty. Hmph. By far the ugliest name she had ever heard. Lifting her skull so that her eyes were staring at him she decided to try and not let it bother her that he stared. She'd have to keep the looks of longing off her face, and the beating of her heart down to normal but it was worth a try. After all the last thing she wanted was to look weak. Hearing his name she gave a slight nod, closing her orbs and then watching once more. "Her name is anything but pretty. It's ugly and deserves to be thrown out. And Lonerequiem....interesting. But if you insist Req it shall be." Sighing softly she shook her skull, blinking swiftly.

It could have easily been mistaken for beaming, that sly trance he found hismelf in, but no, it's was a simple, subtle smug appearance, that was all. He slowly ceased his laughter and shook his head, blinking for a moment. Vortex was jealous... of... Harmonydance? He couldn't not comprehend, being just another dumb tom, because, when it all comes down to all the clever cats in the world, toms are still toms, oblivious to it all. He shrugged it off and watched her boredly doodle in the treedust. I'm boring. He decided with a sigh. Req now realized how much he'd been sighing and shrugging and whatnot. I am boring. He decided sorrowfully. "It's pretty," He argued. "It flows nicely, has a delicately feminine touch to it." He grinned foolishly. "Why are so abraisive towards her anyway? You ahrdly know her,"

Hearing the silence between them she took her time to trance random patterns again, it was better than nothing. Absentmindedly tracing a heart with her paw she looked up as he asked why she was so abrasive towards Harmonydance. She couldn't help but laugh wildly, her laugh filling the little den. She couldn't believe he was actually asking her.....why she was so.......shaking her skull she looked up at him and blink of her eyes, clearly trying to stall and think of an answer. Her eyes glinting with a bit of love she replied sourly. "I have my reasons......." Quickly realizing the tone she took she looked away, out of the open hole that served at the entrance to the small den she was held captive in. How stupid could this tom be? Then again, she didn't really tell him....and he could be thinking she just hated being in here. When in all reality she was just dreading having him find out the true feelings she really had. Looking back towards him she hoped that the look on her face wasn't revealing anything, for thinking about things often tended to put a look on her face. Stupid stupid her, she just needed to get out of here.

Even though he managed to figure out she was laughing at him, though he didn't know why, he let a smile weave its way across his scar-laced muzzle, she had a gorgeous feline smile, he decided. He'd probabaly tell her before she left, or, was tortured or killed... or.. whatever. Hey, why not? Lonerequiem was puzzled as he caught a look of... affection? Ha, no. Some random loner whom he'd probabaly severly injured couldn't possibly feel anything like it. It was probabaly just another hidden insult. He was thoroughly confused, though. Req was an expert expression-reader, and he saw that same look of something that hadn't been pointed at him for a long time. Reasons? This isn't making sense! She's been in here with me for but several heartbeats or so and now she's throwing glances of.. what? Frustrated with his enigma, he shook it off and slowly gracefully to his makeshift nest, full of collected pine needles, old and crunchy, they jabbed him like claws. The black tom raised his head once he was thoroughly curled up. "If I fall asleep tonight, you goona try and escape?" He knew she'd think that was a dumb question, but he'd be able to tell her real answer by her face.

Watching him for the longest time, her orbs followed his actions. He curled up in the nest, the one that looked utterly uncomfortable. She would volunteer to share hers but...nah she'd treat him like he had treated her. Make him suffer for a little while, it wouldn't hurt. HIs question was one she had thought of herself, she could easily sneak away in the middle of the night as he slept. It would be simple really, all the cats would be sleeping, and she would have an easy get away .BUt did she really want to try and leave? Considering the trouble she had put the clan through the right answer would be no that she wouldn't leave and mean it. But being a loner, she should of said no but really meant yes. However, putting herself through deep thought she gave a long pause before answering. "No. I've put everybody through too much trouble as is. Besides, my body is too sore to move much." Shrugging her shoulders at her last comment she settled herself into her bed more comfortably. It was nice, comfortable, cool. She would sleep good tonight, sore body or no.

From a still frustrated trance, the white-eyed tom snapped his head up when he felt the fur at the nape of his neck rise slowly. He was watching him now? Wait, wait, wait. Req met her eyes and held them coldly unti she answered him. The massive tom watched her slightest movements, and the thoughts that flew through her pale eyes, reading them every once in a while, and that same, strange one kept showing up. What was it? She finally answered evenly, and, foolishly, he found himself beleiving her, this strange she-cat. He chuckled though, for it was he who'd handicapped her anyway. "Fine, but if you're lying, let me let you know I'm a light sleeper. And I'd advise you not try and murder me while I sleep either." He kept her gaze icily and flicked his tail.
