Echopaw's thin, wiry build is smaller than the average apprentice. He has long, thin legs that hide lean muscles, allowing him to be quick and nimble with bursts strength. He has a rather small neat face with large, spanning ears. Between his petite profile are large, ellipse-like eyes glowing the shade of pale saffron. His maize eyes are tinted with thin, splinter-like irises that reflect his mischief. Sloping down his nose a slightly clashing color of burnt sienna against his slate fur with a salmon pink nose, burned dark at the edges. Atop the crown of his head is a few striped markings along with thin inky lines from his neck to the edges of his eyes and cheeks. The sleek contours of his face narrow down to a neat maw etched with gossamer thin whiskers.Personality:
Echopaw base fur is a pale hazel with arrays of different colors most of which are dark gray, shades of dark brown, and even near obsidian. Stripes mark over his shoulders, across his flanks, limbs, and his underbelly. The lower end of his body is tinged with light umber that eventually darken to his long, onyx tail.
What he lacks in size and appearance, he makes up with his large personality. Echopaw has a good first impression of screwing things up. Although he never intends to, the tom is a natural troublemaker who mostly makes it difficult for other cats. Proud, arrogant, and rather haughty for his age, Echopaw thinks highly of himself. Loyal to his clan, he dreams one day of becoming leader. He likes to talk about himself a lot so he can be associated as a bit of a narcissist. He's a bit temperamental and usually acts upon instinct before thinking. The apprentice is boisterous and does have ambitions, but he is somewhat lazy as well which conjures up another side of him: bossy. He's very defensive about his status as being non-clanborn so any mention of his background is taboo. It always strikes a nerve to Echopaw when someone brings up his mother or the fact that he was born as a rogue.Experience:
Echopaw believes, probably like any other cat, that his clan is the best. He's always skeptic of meeting other apprentices and is competitive around them. Although Echopaw shows his bad points around a lot, he does have some good in him. The apprentice is loyal, and although not the sharpest tom around, he's very determined when it comes time to hunt, battle, patrol, etc. He respects his clan members though he can be a bit cheeky towards them, but he means it in a good nature. A fuzz ball full of energy, he is friendly towards those he thinks of as friends, of course with a touch of his cockiness.
Around she-cats, Echopaw's boastfulness heightens more, but towards a she-cat he really likes, the tom is more quiet and easily bashful though he tries to cover it up by being defensive. All in all, Echopaw's a loud, energetic tom who just needs a good cuff around the ears most of the time.
Echopaw's rather attention-starved persona developed from the lack of a mother-figure in his life. His mother was a rogue who gave Echopaw and his siblings to his uncle who was a clanborn cat. Of course, they came to TempestClan at a young age, but Echopaw knew of his history which he is slightly ashamed of.Picture:
