Age: 35 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: CelestialClan
Desired Position: Deputy
Short Description:
Hollybreeze is a lithe black and white she-cat with pale green eyes. She is calm, dependable, and thoughtful.Description:
Hollybreeze is a medium-sized cat, with nothing overly distinct about her, except for her beautiful eyes. They are an astounding shade of pale, pale green that has hints of metallic silver in them. They are simply captivating and one could probably stare into them for hours. Her whiskers accent them, standing out grandly above her eyes and from her cheeks, as the purest shade of snow. Otherwise, she seems perfectly normal for a she-cat in Celestialclan. She is slender and healthy, with well-groomed and neat fur. Her pelt is about medium length, long enough to provide comfort during winter and long enough to give a little discomfort during summer, but shedding helps. The fur itself is mostly pitch black, and covers her head, the back of her neck, back, sides, legs, flanks, and tail. The white on her starts at her chin, runs down her neck to her chest, along her belly and appears again at the tip of her long tail. All four paws are white, as if she stepped into white paint while walking through the forest. Her nose is black, just like the rest of the majority of her pelt, while the lower part of her cheeks and chin are bright white, stark against her darker backdrop. She has two notable scars, one that slants over the prominent muscle in her right shoulder and the second a bit smaller and burrowing just above her tail where an enemy's claws had set into her trying to get a grip on her fast-moving body.Personality:
Hollybreeze is, above all, thoughtful. She is calm and rarely loses her cool, finding the overt use of emotion a waste, thinking it foolish to give something like that away to someone she doesn't like. Hollybreeze usually just ignores someone she doesn't care for, and if they are persistent enough to make her lose her temper, which does not happen often, they are very unlucky individuals. Hollybreeze's temper, when unleashed, is not pleasant to see. If she does get that angry, she'll probably put the offending cat in their place using whatever means necessary and then go off to try and cool down, which always takes some time. She isn't judgemental and rarely uses first impressions against other cats, content to learn who they are as time passes by. She is an analyst and a strategist by nature, always finding it best to work out the solution to a presented problem and never rushes into things. She tends to be quite cautious and wary, especially of making bonds, which is probably one of her biggest flaws. She doesn't just make friends. She has to know you for a long time, know for sure that she can trust you and that you'll have her back, and be able to understand you and put you in a box before she truly becomes your friend. Of course, by then, she's sure to die for you, because Hollybreeze is the best kind of friend you can have. Nonetheless, this is her insecurity, she is very unwilling to trust other cats with anything more than the norm. She doesn't believe in her own immortality, just in others' mortality. One could say this makes her pessimistic, but she is more realistic. At least, that's what she'd tell you. Even though she isn't very trusting, Hollybreeze is friendly and enjoys being social, making small talk, and just hanging with cats that she likes. Hollybreeze doesn't rush into anything and she doesn't make rash decisions. She'll weigh pros and cons and be very logical about everything; she's almost "Vulcan" in her methods. Despite this, she does care for others and while she doesn't show it often, has a compassionate side too. She is brave and has little regard for cowards and traitors. They are on the top of her hate list, which isn't very long.Experience:
Hollybreeze was born the daughter of the current deputy and a young queen who was known as the local flirt. She'd had kits with two other toms before she "fell in love" with Burningheart and, like every other tom she'd ever been with, it didn't take long at all to woo him. She was in love with all powerful toms who could get her places and she saw major potential in this tom, who was very important, well-liked, respected and admired, a very capable cat whose fighting skills were amazing. He was definitely a cat she could use in her attempts to build her own self-worth and confidence. Blossomsky was very judgemental, however, and they soon grew apart, him being much more easygoing than she, and the two of them argued constantly over most of his decisions, with Blossomsky trying to influence him as much as possible. It was all a part of her scheme to make herself feel better, a very massive scheme that would soon end in heartbreak. She was already pregnant, however, and so delivered two kits with a great to-do. One of them died almost immediately after birth, so Hollykit was the only surviver. Both parents were heartbroken and took it out on each other. Burningheart blamed her for stressing herself out all the time and not eating enough because she was worried about her figure. She blamed him for not watching out for her enough and not keeping a closer eye on her. Their relationship ended in pieces, leaving a lonely Hollykit in the nest while her mother went off to sulk constantly and her father had nothing to do with her. Thus began her life in the nursery. Her father mellowed first and came to spend time with her. He taught her how to talk and would include her in conversation, being very compassionate for her situation of dislike with her mother. They were in the same doghouse with the irate she-cat.Picture:
Hollykit was made into an apprentice late, because she was small and weak as a kitten. Her mentor was a young cat who wasn't very understanding and had little experience with mentoring, as this was his first apprentice. The two didn't get along very well, as Hollypaw was much more reserved and calm, while he was flighty and indecisive. The two clashed for most of her apprenticehood, and she ended up turning to some of her friends for help, learning from different warriors who sympathized and offered to help out, as well as her fellow apprentices. Her mentor did start to calm down a little as she rubbed off on him and he found a dedicated mate who could keep him under control. Hollypaw still wasn't very fond of him and was happy to graduate to a warrior when the time came.
She was given the name Hollybreeze and went on to work hard at being a dutiful warrior. She enjoyed the job because it fit her well. Recieve orders, perform them, be applauded for being as precise as she was. Hollybreeze was given an apprentice early, because of how hard she worked and what a good warrior she was, despite her inital problems, and the leader was quite impressed. Her father was very proud of her, while her mother still didn't want anything to do with her. Her apprentice, Orangepaw, was very loud and excitable, just like her mentor, except Hollybreeze was in the authority position now and she used it. She kept him on a tight leash and disciplined him quite a bit, and she made him into a proud warrior that the clan was happy to boast about. Orangestripe was well-known for his cocky behavior still, but at least now he had a reason to be cocky. Sadly, ten moons after Orangestripe had been made a warrior and attended his first Gathering as a warrior, Hollybreeze's father died during a thunderstorm, and she was chosen to take his place, and did so with the hope that she would make her father proud.
