The brown tabby padded out of the den, feeling rather self conscious and lonely. She was feeling lonely, and she wanted to socialize... but... "Why was I cursed with this shyness?"She whispered, padding at the ground. She looked around the clearing, everything seemed normal. Except to her. Her mind was buzzing. She started towards the fresh kill pile, a bit hungry. Her movement's, unlike her speech, were graceful. She put one delicate paw in front of the other. Then she started to walk faster, feeling the hunger in her belly. She picked up a small mouse and devoured it quickly.
Satisfied, she began to groom herself, cringing whenever somebody looked at her. Panic flooded her eyes as more cats looked over at her, but she relaxed when she realized that they were only looking at the fresh kill. "Uhm..." She started, nervously. "Would.. would a..anyone like to t..talk?" Autumnleaf never looked up. She was busy studying her paws, and if anybody wanted to, she'd try. She wanted friends, but it was hard.

Having always been an early riser, up at the first wave of raucious birdsong often before even dawn blushed rose across the clear horizon, the day seemed to stretch long and far for the tom. After his customary bout of running each day, just after the first tender lights of morning broke through the early twilight, the lanky creature had brushed away the idle hours before the rest of his clan woke with a quick, bountiful hunt. Having successfully sought out an unfortunate lark's newly fallen nest-no doubt do to the blustering wind the night before-and bringing it proudly back to camp, pale brown specked eggs and all, the sable-patched warrior had flopped down near the fresh-kill pile, tantilizing himself with his own catch. Sure, he had earned it, but wouldn't that be gentlemanly of him to bring it to Shiverleaf for her to share with her kits? Surely it would get him brownie points from Dewstar, in the least, though it certainly wasn't his goal. But oh the tom could imagine the still-warm golden yokes drizzling down his chin as he messily slopped up the delicacy, and the temptation was just beginning to win him over when the pretty mottled brown tabby Autumnleaf timidly approached. Offhandedly, Fleetfoot twitched his dusky tail tip, allowing his clear minty eyes to wander over to the quietly eating warrior. Start a conversation? It was inevitable, but how to begin? Occasionally shy cats like this certain one became hard to crack open, but just as his glinting ivories shimmered in the brilliant morning sunlight as his jaws unclasped, his clanmate quickly cleared away the silence before he could get the chance. Snapping his maw shut once more, Fleetfoot pricked his pallid, lynx-tipped ears charmingly, and shot her a one-sided grin. "Well I'd offer, but only on the chance you'd be willing to sit by the pond where it's cool and shady instead of over here in this blistering heat," The patched tom purred, pushing himself slowly up, as if he were an elder listening to their own bones creaking, and suddenly shook out a puff of dust from his plush fur. Beckoning the she-cat with a twitch of his whiskers, Fleetfoot slipped over to the small puddle of cool water near the High Rock.

Autumnleaf smiled shyly at Fleetfoot, and got up to follow him. She didn't really trust him, but she was trying to branch out to other cats. So she could make up for what her mother had done; making her shy. "Yeah... I guess that'd be a b..better place to be..." Her voice was louder, but it didn't mask her feelings. Shyness, uncertainly, and fear.
The brown tabby sat down next to the tom, rather awkwardly, I might add. She placed her paws neatly under her head, and looked over at Fleetfoot. "So..." She started, not really sure how to socialize. Her ears twitched nervously as she started to talk again. "Uhm... how are you? I mean.. uhm.. are you enjoying yourself today, Fleetfoot?" She smiled, she hoped it didn't look like a grimace.

HexMark wandered around blindly like usually having her a glazed look upon her face. Last night was hell!!!! Stupid birds squeaking and screeching until Hex decided it was time their little stupid brains should be knocked out and made into dinner. The she-cats feet wandered around for her taking her up and down, left and right until eventually she would trip over something...like I dunno... a poor quiet mannered she cat sitting near a pond. Hex's face came crashing to the floor and her round bum straight in the air. "What the deuce!? Aye! You make a lovely stump, love." Hex threw out her usual dry sarcasm until she came to find that she tripped over another she-cat and not a foolish kit."Oh! My bad!" Forgive me Autumnleaf I though you were a clumsy kit...though I am the one being very clumsy here." The she-cat picked herself off from the floor and smiled apologetically. "And look at that! I interrupted you and your mates conversation, sorreh!" Her voice lowered as she spoke to the female," He is a handsome tom though, good catch!" The female chuckled and nodded towards autumnleaf. Then her green eyes wandered around tiredly until she reached the probably confused tom, "I'm not usually like this...I haven't got a wink of sleep so please ignore my non-deputy behavior. I'm not quiet familiar with all the names yet so I'll introduce myself to make thing a little less awkward or maybe a little more awkward, I'm Hexmark, you?" Hex smiled warmly at her fellow members and tried her best not to look worse already than she does right now.

((OOC: LOL XDDD I love it x3 And wow, she gets embarrassed easily. lol)) Autumnleaf let out a small 'oof' as the deputy stumbled over her. Her fur was bristling furiously, because she didn't realize who it was. She whipped her head around. "What was that fo-" She saw it was Hexmark. Embarrassment flooded over her. "Oh... I'm.. sorry.." Shyness came again, and she looked down at her paws awkwardly.
Her head snapped up as she said he was her mate. "What? Mate? No no, we're not mates.. I mean.. uhm... no w...what??!" She looked over at Fleetfoot, embarrassed. She gave him a look that said she had no idea.
Even more embarrassed as she told her how handsome he was. She never thought of other cats as 'pretty' or 'handsome', but when she looked over, she saw he was handsome. Pelt burning with embarrassment, she nodded to the deputy and the tom who might have been her friend. "I uhm.. should go... I.." She didn't finish her sentence, because she whipped around and started heading for the warrior's den. She'd only stop if somebody asked her too.

Watching the she-cat fumble over the words, truely the most timid, mousy feline he had yet come to meet, Fleetfoot couldn't help but shoot the she-cat a smile, shaking his head slowly. "Calm down, I'm not a porcupine y'know!" His low-toned chuckle not only showed through his open mouth, but twinkled in his clear, spring-green eyes. "I woke up much too early this morning, if you must kno- hup!" He began to answer her slightly awkward question, simply going along as smoothly as he could to make her feel at least a bit more at ease when suddenly the fumbling silver deputy tumbled along, slipping over his conversation partner. Wide-eyed, the lithe tom gave a slow blink, sizing up the silly she-cat before breaking into a quiet laughter, shaking his head at Hexmark. "Why don't you take a nap or something? Excuse me for saying this, but you're quite the dork when you haven't had a wink of sleep Hex!" The mostly ivory tom chortled, curling and uncurling his tailtip with a reminiscent grin still framing his features. "Oh get back here you!" Fleetfoot leaned forward to bat gently at her tail with a forepaw as Autumnleaf attempted to slip away. "Don't mind her tripping over her words, I'm sure it was a mistake," He called after, then shot Hex a mischevious sidelong glance, accompanied by a joking grin. "Thanks, by the way, I appreciate the compliment." He snorted good-naturedly.

Autumnleaf shivered when his tail touched her, but gave in and walked back over to him. She was very embarrassed. "I'm so shy, whenever I try to talk with someone people think we're mates," She said, annoyed. She groaned and looked up at the sky. After a moment she looked back over at Fleetfoot. She looked around to see if other cats were around, and leaned closer. "I don't mean to be rude..." She started, "but Hexmark is an idiot sometimes." She rarely spoke like that, without stopping or freezing up.
She started to draw in the earth, nonsense really, just random lines with her claws. She gave a small yelp when she discovered a tree root, causing her paw to get stuck. She tried to pull away, and then started mewing in pain. She looked over at Fleetfoot. "Would you help me?"

(Yes! But shes my dork! Muahahaha!)
Hexmark kicked her self inwardly as she completely embarrassed her new acquaintance. "Niiiice you dunce! You frightened the poor little soul!" Hex's inner voice scolded teasingly, while Hex watched the female make an escape. "Aye!!! Don't go running off! Come, come it was my bad judgment."Hex quickly darted and faced the female so she would have no escape. "I see your a little shy...here's an old trick of mine." Hex leaned in and spoke softly," Just smile kiddo. I wasn't always this outspoken and irritating you know. Believe it or not I was one helluva nerd and clung to elders like a tick." The she-cat chuckled before hearing the male speak. Her skull turned his way and gave a lopsided grin. "Love, you don't want to see me when I'm not a dork, and I don't have so much leisure like I used to." Hex sighed contently as she gathered her emotions and came into a more collected and level-headed state. Long and impressively muscular legs lifted the dainty female to the fresh kill pile to collect her breakfast and gulp it down swiftly. Once the meal was devoured Hexmark felt more like herself and decided to sink in to her more serious state. Hex walked to the two and stretched her fit figure before starting her boring job as super deputy. "Alright you two come on! We shall get more acquainted on a little patrol. Time is of the essence and I have to pretend I'm doing something or boss will be unhappy."Hex nodded slightly as she headed towards the camp entrance. Soddenly hex remembered something the the tom had said that had only just crossed her mind now. "Oh, and don't be expecting too many of them, it takes a lot to get a compliment like that out of me, tom."Hex whispered silently to Fleetfoot and gave a teasing chuckle. The Deputy then turned back to find the female caught on a branch. Hex smiled kindly as she turned to help unhook her foot from the root and sighed. "You alright?"

Autumnleaf smiled at the deputy, liking how polite she was… now. She listened to what she had to say, and was taken aback, forgetting her stuck paw. Just...smile? She thought to herself, amazed. She realized where her paw was when she got it unstuck. Giving a sigh of relief, she nodded at Hexmark. “Thank you,” She smiled and started to clean the dirt out of her fur.
Her eyes lit up as she suggested a patrol. “Really?” She loved doing patrols, more then hunting, she was sure of that. She laughed quietly at what she said. Just addressing somebody as ‘tom’? She was amused at the thought, but she knew it was rude unless you were friends. Were they friends, or was she just being rude?
She got up, and went to the deputy’s side, but stayed a few paw steps away from her. She wasn’t her friend, and she wasn’t comfortable being that close to cats. She looked back at Fleetfoot, nervous, but she found her confidence. She flashed a large grin and with a light tone, “Are you coming?”

Hexmark nodded warmly as autumnleaf thanked her kindly for the assistance. "Aye! A morning patrol does the heart good."The she-cat smiled in a good-manner as she continued to head toward the entrance once more. Soft green eyes darted here and there as she analyzed the area with all is homely beauty. Hex couldn't help, but feel her nature to be a little too raw, though the deputy was naturally rough-mannered and sturdy. It had been past down from her mother and it was just a building block of her personality. Sometimes she felt that if she wasn't so feminine and attractive on the outside then most cats would mistaken her for a tom. Guilt tugged on Hexmarks heart as she attempted to be a bit kinder towards the tom. "I'm just teasing ya, Come on handsome! Were gonna need a protector if some trouble-makers show up" Hex laughed and grinned playfully at fleetfoot and waited patiently until he was able to catch up. Extensive tail swayed happily as she addressed the female once more, "Where would you like to head first, Autumnleaf?"

Autumnleaf purred in amusement as she waited for Fleetfoot. She looked over at Hexmark, and tilted her head. "I don't really... know.." She mewed awkwardly. "What about you, Fleetfoot?" She was more used to the tom, and was able to address him better then the deputy. She sneezed for no apparent reason, and put her paws on her nose. What was that for? She wondered, and looked around to find a source of the sneeze.
She stopped looking when she remembered she was with two other cats. She'd hate if they thought she was crazy. Looking at her paws, Autumnleaf's pelt burned with embarrassment. "Where do you wanna go, Hexmark?" She asked, wondering when Fleetfoot would respond... he was just..watching.

It was much too early. The leader groaned and padded out of his den. He had too much excitement from the past day and he didn't get a lot of sleep. He went to scratch an itch near his eye, but he realized he was standing and became unsteady on his paws. The tom fell, losing his balance, and he just laid on the cool ground, half asleep. He smiled to himself and stayed where he was. What time was it? He was normally an early riser but..oh..who knew? His schedule had been off lately. Becoming leader, his medicine cat disappearing..kits coming back. Much too..exciting, depressing, and everything in between. The leader rolled into a sitting position and finally was able to get to the scratch on his eye. He looked like an idiot, pawing at his face but ti felt good after he scratched the itch. A large yawn split open his jaws and he nearly toppled over again. He looked down at his mussed up fur but didn't touch it. Another yawn split open his jaw, and Dewstar inhaled deeply. "Morning, world," the tom mumbled, half conscious.

//Bahh, guys please wait for me to post! D: Slowly, pale lids slid over his minty films before returning them to the world, only a bit dazed from his trance-like reverie as the world rushed on around him, not even sparing a moment of conversation to his poor, sleep-deprived mind. Leisurely, the tom tossed back his head and let out a loud yawn, chattering his teeth for a moment as he fought away the impolite interruption. Suddenly he realized his two female partners were directing their dialogue and him, and he slapped the end half of his tail to the dusty grass with a start. "Hm? Sorry girls, guess I'm not getting enough sleep. Maybe I ought to sleep in more, I kinda blanked out there.." Fleetfoot snorted, blinking once more. "Oh, patrol? I guess, though I just got back from one.. bah. I shouldn't let you two push me around, but I can't help it. I guess I'll go but there's nothing you can do to keep me from a nap when we get back." The mouse-patched white warrior tilted his head to one side and gave a half-grin, charming them into one of those sweetly feminine bouts of giggles, with any luck. Perhaps he could tempt a lush into Autumnleaf's ears? Standing, Fleetfoot abruptly swung his head to the side at a quiet murmur at the other side of camp. Giving a little chortle of amusement, he pointed with his tail at the lithe silver tabby leader at the mouth of his den. "Speaking of sleep, looks like Dewstar really knows how to live!" He grinned, twitching his whiskers.

Autumnleaf giggled at Fleetfoot, watching the lazy warrior get tired. "You don't have to come.. you can go sleep, Fleetfoot." She offered, smiling. Her paws were prickling because she hadn't been on a patrol in a while, and she loved to feel the adrenaline rush that you might find an enemy warrior. She didn't realize but her tail was curled up happily, and she uncurled it, embarrassed.
Autumnleaf had never been picked to go on a patrol much, because of her awful shyness, but when she did get to go she was pretty communicative. But she wasn't mega outgoing... just a little bit. ((OOC: Sorry, Dx -Small muse o3o-))

A slender she-cat trotted out of the warriors den, blinking her gray-green hued eyes in the bright sunlight. It was a lovley morning and she was ready to enjoy the day. She sat down on her haunches, not yet quite awake, and surveyed the camp. She saw Autunmleaf and Fleetfoot conversing a little ways off. Her ears pricked as she noticved how shy the she-cat was being around the tom cat. Perhaphs she had a crush on him. Meadowstream admitted her wasn't that bad looking, but like most toms in the clan, she couldn't ever imagine herself loving and having kits with him. She often thought about who in her Clan would make a good mate, but never seemed to find a match. She noticed Hexmark walk over and start discussing what appeared to be patrols.
Meadwostream yawned, her maw stretching before stnading and slowly padding over. "Good morning ya'll." she said shyly, scuffing her paws as she approached them. She was always this shy, even around her Clan. How foolish some cats must think of her. She let her green-gray eyes fall on the cats individually and she dipped her head only once. "Are we talking about patrols Hexmark?" she asked politley, cocking her head. 'I'd love to go hunting or patroling this morning, stretch out my legs from tha sleep I had last night. May I join one of them?" she asked civily.
