The hare dashed across the dew laced grass and past the sparkling blue lake. A slender white she-cat dashed after it, closing in quickly. The air rushed through her fur, smoothing out the usual fluffy nature of it. Her pink nose quivered with excitement as she closed in on the hair, she could see every hair on its body, she could almost taste its warm blood as she sank her teeth into its neck. Finally her eyes were wide with exhilaration and she leapt towards the creatures back.
Dovekit jumped awake, nearly crashing into her mothers back. She shook herself until she was fully awake. It seemed that no-one else was though. Her brothers were sleeping, and so was her sister. Pepperkit! Apparcently she had been stolen and was now back, and that meant Dovekit wasn't the only girl. She really didn't know how to feel about that though. She felt slightly sad that she wasn't... different in the litter now. Though it was great that she had someone like her. She felt rather confused.
She looked around the nursery once more, looking at her siblings, her mother, Shiverleaf and her litter. Why wasn't anyone up? She was so bored. She slowly and quietly crept out of the shadow of her mother and to the nurserys exit, maybe she could find somthing to do, or someone to see. It was possible that something interesting would be out there, not that she would stay long though. Sometimes it was scary alone.
Dovekit blinked in the early morning sunshine, the nursery had been dark and this was a change. She sat by the side of the nursery entrance and waited for.... anything.

Fallingkit stirred. She tilted her head as her eyes opened to see a small amount of movement. What kit was that? The she-kit sighed and stretched out away from Shiverleaf. She wondered where her father was, probably in his den. He was leader, wasn't he?
The large she-kit smiled to herself and got up, stretching each limb on her body. Sighing happily, she flopped down again, and crawled toward the entrance, each step quiet and stalking. Her eyes were wide as she looked outside to the deserted camp. What time was it?
Were there more kits in the nursery now? Had something happened. She got up and sniffed around curiously. "Mama, there are 3 other kits here now," the she-kit whispered in Shiverleaf's ears. Two of them were sleeping with her mother. Who were they, and why were they sleeping with her mother?

The silver Queen noticed things had changed. Not between her and Dewstream, woops...Dewstar. The whole him being Leader was different though their connection and the way they were was not. Of course he was busy now...but when wasn't he? Even as a warrior he had been. That was normal. Another change was Rushingkit and Moonkit. Oh her beautiful babies were hers once again. They had seemed welcoming to the change. Thank Starclan for Spectrelight. The she-cat's eyes were closed by furry white lids but they flickered open at the sound of her daughter's voice. It was Fallingkit. As Moonkit stretched against her stomach Shiverleaf looked at Fallingkit. "They are your siblings dearest one. Moonkit and Rushingkit. " Her eyes were soft as she gazed at the awakening kits before looking at her already awakened daughter.
--
Moonkit shifted lightly, the warm fur of her mother was welcoming. At least this was where she could call home. But she longed for the other place she had been. It wasn't the same. Although she would never be back there she had a sense that this was for the better. A cat had come and rescued her. Brought her back here where she was supposed to be. This was where she now belonged.

Fallingkit looked at her siblings. "You're my sister?" she asked, an awed looked forming in her eyes as she gazed down at Moonkit. They became so wide, they looked unusual. She smiled. "I never knew I had a sister," the little she-kit murmured. "Dovekit, did you know about Pepperkit?" the she-kit asked. How had she not known? Why didn't her mother tell her she had 2 other siblings. Rushingkit and Moonkit. Rushingkit was..a boy? So she had a brother, too? Wow, that was something. A purr have formed deep in her throat and she let it out, purring happily and prancing eagerly on her four paws. "This is lovely," murmered the she-kit with another small smile.

A mostly black figure was curled up next to a black and white she-cat, pressed to her belly for as much heat as he could get. Sleeping. Eating. That was how life had gone for him so far. Boring, to say the least. He leaned back onto his hind paws and opened his tiny maw wide in a killer yawn, showing off all his tiny sharp teeth, while stretching his limbs. Pulling himself forward he stood with a very straight back, surveying the cats around him. He watched the she-cats that surrounded their mother, Shiverleaf, in the nest next to his mothers. His tail stuck straight out, his hind end wiggling from side to side, picking his paws up and putting them down again, he shot quickly over to the other queen and looked at the others. "Hey!" He meowed. Nocturnekit was quite an optimistic little kit, but he was fascinated by she-cats. They were, differen't? He titled his hear to the side, his little black ears twitching and gave them a smile. "Hello Shiverleaf." He added and dipped his head.

The good natured Queen smiled softly at her daughter Fallingkit's questions to her siblings miraculously appearing. "They were just hiding young one. Your father has found them now so it's all back to normal. What matters is you're all together which is how we like to keep it." Shiverleaf smiled softly, her warm voice wrapping around each of her kits and giving herself a reminder that she was a mother and these were her and Dewstar's kits. Then another voice was heard and her jade orbs danced to find Nocturnkit. "Well hello there Nocturnkit." She mewed brightly giving a soft smile.
