Stormwind glanced at Silentpaw, anxiously flicking her tail. There was only one of the two needed herbs here, but that would have to do for now. Slowly sniffing the plant, she smiled at the apprentice before touching a gentle leaf with one paw. "Take only the full-grown leaves that are this dusty green. If you take any smaller, brighter green ones, you'll kill the growth of the plant." She meowed, biting off the leaf stems. Succulent juice filled her mouth, yet she didn't swallow. Every drop needed to be saved.

Eager to get to the meeting, Silentpaw snapped up as many leaves as she could and turned back toward the camp. Oh, but this juice was delicious! She noticed that Stormwind wasn't swallowing, so she gritted her teeth and tried not to. A bit of the juice slithered down her throat, and her eyes widened in pleasure--it was so wonderful! They really needed to get back before she ate the leaves herself. Glancing over at Stormwind, the young apprentice sprang on top of a rock and began to head back to camp, hoping they had enough herbs to satisfy the medicine cat.

Seeing the apprentice's wide-eyed look, the she-cat chuckled. Apparently she'd discovered the extremely tasty juice that ran through the plant. Stormwind remembered the first time she had tasted it. She'd swallowed so much by accident-on-purpose that she gave herself a bellyache. Well, she'd learned from that. Bounding onto the rock beside Silentpaw, the medicine cat nodded. "Thes shoold be nuff." She meowed, the sound muffled by the plant leaves stuffed in her mouth. Shaking her head in despair, she gave Silentpaw another humor-filled look before heading back toward camp.
